I read a small joke in the Philadelphia Daily News about Tampa Bay Fans that i didn't really get. Here is the joke below
A tampa bay fan was laying in bed next to his wife and said "i'm going to make you the happiest woman in the world" and the wife's response was "I'll miss you"
Can someone help with this joke.

Are you sure you read/wrote it down right? Cause it dosen't make much sence to me either. Maybe the Tampa Bay fans think that the Buccaners are going to win and the wives don't...not funny. If it were the players for the Buccaners, it might make more sence. But still not funny.

Yeah it didn't make sense to me either. I wrote it down just like it was in the paper. That's why i posted the message-LOL

Beyond me. Like Gregorio said, it's probably an inside joke.

are you sure this time that it was a joke in the paper? haha!! :)
It's a funny joke, but I don't understand how it relates to Tampa.

I think that the core of the joke is really about a man not being able to satisfy his wife, because in order to be the happiest woman in the world she would have to leave him.
Get it?
Well, take the joke from being about an average man and just insert in "Tampa Bay fan" and bad-a-bing, you got yerself a tailor-made rip on Tampa Bay.
At least that's my theory.
It's a rather lame joke though.

I get the joke, but it's kinda stupid in relation to the Bucs.
