I was watching the 10:30 pm episode of golden girls and they mentioned a mechanic named Andy Granatelli.
I thought that was just a character on the CATM show is he a real person does anyone here know who he is?

The same name was mentioned on an episode of The Facts of Life.

ok, i checked it out....Andy was in fact a BIG race car driver...In 1969, Granatelli teamed up with Mario Andretti to win his first Indianapolis 500....and his credits from their go on and on. Just thought I'd let ya know.
