Wow, thanks, Michelle. It's cool to know someone actually reads what my ramblings. I was sick all weekend and although I watched last night's episode, I couldn't drag myself out of bed to respond to it. Once doctor visit and eleven pills later though...


*clears throat*


First, allow me to just point out I watched this episode with a blury mind-very doped up on pain meds, anahistimenes, and what not. I've only seen it once, so don't kill me for my errors or crazy thoughts that don't make sense.

This episode went by way to fast! Anyone else feel like that?

Either way, I guess I will start with Magda and Gabe, because I find myself finding issues with them. They just aren't believable. The poor boy is lying there in bed getting a bone marrow transplant and I can't bring myself to care. I think it's because mom and dad aren't selling it too well. I don't know, the whole 'Gabe is unsure thing' and then his getting a job behind Magda's back... It just doesn't make sense to me, and the time period is so weird. I thought he got the transplant last week, not this one. The time thing is confusing me. I really don't have great things to say about any of this, but I find myself missing Magda of first season, even if she was incredibly nosey!


Cap...was she in this episode? Oh yeah, she was! I forgot, C.D's mom gave her that cream. Other than that, wher was she? I was opening to see something relating her to Charles. I mean, the man took a bullet for her, but even more so, he died right in front of her. Now, I know she's an old veteran and what not, but that must effect everyone, even good ole Captain Kate. Hopefully we'll see something, but probably not. I hope she gets some good storylines this season, she deserves them. She's holding her on and I like her more and more as we go along.


Nate, he was about as visible as Cap, although I did LOVE the turtle story. I think it's so funny how he is always trying to sympathize and relate with C.D, although he's often so faaaaaar off base. He's funny though with his ignorance. I'm looking forward to upcoming episodes where he and C.D. get on the same page and actually sit down and talk about things that are in the same ball park. Their friendship is great, and the scenes they have together are awesome, IMO.


Jinny and Raina. To paraphrase the line of the night:
"Magda, she's talked more this morning than you have in three years." Now, that my friends, was Jinny. It had me cracking up. So very true! I liked them working together; it was interesting. Neither know quite what to think of the other. I find myself admiring Raina's tenacity more and more, though I won't be surprised when she crosses the line one day.


Did anyone else find it ironic C.D. was working out, only to be preparing to eat a pizza?! I had to laugh at that. Sweating off the pounds only to pack them back on---typical! As for C.D. herself, you go, dudette! I'm surprised she put up with her mother for as long as she did in this episode. She obviously loves her. I can't help but think I would have told her off and forbid her from entering my life. C.D. has a pretty big heart there. I'm glad all this got out. C.D. needed that. I still think she will eventually talk to Nate, or Cap even, about it. C.D. is really an intriguing, mysterious character...



Everyone knows Jinny is married. I know, this wasn't said, but if Raina knows Jinny knows. I was hoping we could see Jin tell Cap, but whatever.

Will Cap and Jin converse this season? I hope so. I love them together.




Ok, not as long as usual, but I'm really out of it. All the meds are really getting to me and I think I'll go take a nap now. Thanks for noticing my absence, Michelle, and until I find myself feeling better...

...it's off to the hole;)

(This is just a guess, but I wonder if the Haysbert dying in front of Kate won't be brought up between Jinny and Kate when the Anniversary of Jinny's mom's death is on. At least, that's what I hope.)

Hey,,KS...my TD nite isn't over until I read your ramblings. You always have alot of insight and pick up on little things that I always seem to miss.

I could totally relate to the CD/pizza thing...I ordered a large pizza last night after getting off my stair stepper!!!!pig:

Overall it was a very intense portrayal of an abused young woman,,IMO. Kudos to Tracey Needham!!

Yes,,,I also noticed that Cap Kate was barely on....she seems to be holding up well after the Charles thing but they didn't even mention the shooting in this eppy,,,bummer.

Overall,,the entire ep just seemed to fly by...:seeya:before ya know it we'll be at the end of Season 3!!

*angelic smile* I mentioned that in another post also--we're on the same page with this one;) I'm crossing my fingers, just hoping and praying something like that will happen, especially since I'm a sucker for any and every Jin/Cap moment we can squeeze out of the writers.

Thanks for the get well wishes from both of you, and thanks again for the post Michelle. I agree with you that season 3 is going to fly by-2 down and only 20 to go:( I wish they would look into ordering more than 22 episodes per season. I guess the writer's and actors do need a break though:(

Anyway, I hope to be feeling better soon and hopefully I will have more to say about next weeks' episode, and hopefully it will actually make more sense. Until then...it's back to bed with this insane fever of mine. I hate being sick:mad:...but oh well!
