I was amazed at how many fans of the show are here. I thaught I was the only one who remembered the show....what a cool suprise. I used to watch the show when I was a young boy, right after Sanford & Son. I had just turned 10 years old 9 days before Freddie shot himself. I remember when it was in the paper and on the news and I didn`t understand it. I remember they showed reruns until the early 80s, then nothing. I`m glad I had the chance to record them, after 20 years of not seeing it!! I really thaught I`d never see it again. All the people on the show are classic actors. It`s a shame Freddie couldn`t have hung in there. He was a very funny and gifted person.

Your right Scott, Freddie was very gifted. I too wish he had hung in there,but the poor guy didn`t think there was a light at the end of the tunnel. It was there, he just couldn`t see it at the time.

I was nine when he killed himself and I still remember it vividly cause I had such a crush on him, I went in my room and cried, and I just couldnt understand why he would do that,now that Im older I still dont really ,but I do feel so bad for him to have felt there was no hope and that was his only way out. http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/frown.gif
