I was just going to post this.... waht's up? Trouble in Paradise for her and Gabe?

I can understand her being tense with Ben and all but she was weak too last season when he was dignosed.... *shrugs* Just, she needs to sit and think about her actions. (AH I SOUND LIKE A MOM!)

I'll give her a little break because of her sick child and the mounting bills.

But beware,,,stay away from this woman when she is in a bad mood!!!:mad: :mad:

Give Gabe props.... he's breaking.... she broke last season and he was there for her and now he's finally realizing what is happening to his son and he cant take it but yet, she's not there for him.

The ending was pretty cute though...the whole "I wanna hear your song." I hate how it ended.

I don't the way that Mag is acting toward Gabe. She is being a real pain in the @ss.

hey remember that time last season when Gabe's flight was late and the phones broke up so the reception wasn't clear, and Magda cooked and got mad when he didn't show up, and then he explained what happened and she was still mad?

well, it sounded like him...to not explain, for whatever reason and then bail...with his past and everything. so, i think i would have done the same thing as magda. that made no sense to me.

I don't mean to be a b!tch right now, god knows my boyfriend thinks I am...but anyway! When I was having a bone marrow transplant, my family was just like, screwed up! My parents were discussing getting a divorce, my sis was all, 'you're just sick 'cuz you want attention' as was my brother, bills were huge and they were having difficulties paying the bills for my meds because the insurance company wasn't covering it all, it was a bunch of bull crap.

I know thats not exactly an excuse for the way Mag's acting towards Gabe right now--but its a decent reason. I mean, my parents were at eachother's throats while in my room while I was recieving my brother's marrow. Its never easy for parents to deal with it. I just think people should cut both her and Gabe some slack...

I hate Magda. I have ALWAYS hated Magda.

Magda is becoming more and more annoying, like she's using Bne's being sick for an excuse to be a whiney bitch

I don't know. What became of season one's Magda? She's changed so much, from attitude to clothes! I can't figure it out. I don't care for her very much, although she's tolerable when with Jinny, nor do I care for Gabe. Call me cold hearted, but it just isn't working between the two of them and I don't feel their emotions. It's like I can't bring myself to care what they're going through. I don't know, just something isn't there...

If Magda would be played by Nancy McKeon, and Gabe was Teddy or Jack, would yall be like,'dude, I feel so bad for her, and she's under so much stress..I totally understand her bitchyness'? Or would you still think she was a cold ass bitch? Because sometimes I get the feeling that Nancy could never do wrong, no matter what character she is, and it's just the other actresses you don't like. Cause Raina gets that same **** all the time, but when Jinny is a bitch to her, like in the last episode, nobody says anything about it. I'm just wondering what yall say.

I totally see what you're saying..it makes a lot of sense. Personally, I don't see anything special about Jinny anymore, I just plain don't like Magda.

I'm not really blaming Lisa for the fact I don't like Magda as much as I used to. The character herself has undergone such a drastic change since season one, I'm not sure what to make of it. I think Lisa Vidal is a really good actress, but personally I don't think the writer's are giving her much to work with.
As for Jose, he just doesn't do it for me. Something about him isn't that convincing. Maybe it's the roll he's in, or the material he's given to work with.
Put the two of them together and I don't see the chemistry. I think the writer's rushed the marriage on too soon, because when Gabe was first introduced there was a spark there. They've thrown too much into the mix, IMO. Perhaps the cancer thing could work, I don't know.
Something is missing, but I can't tell you what. Maybe have them get married after the cancer ordeal? Don't introduce the cancer until the third season? Something.
Also, the fact that Magda had such trouble with Lily and then majesticly she's the match for Ben.
Irony is great if used effectively, but the writer's over did it, in my opinion, when it came to Magda. I hope they "wow back" and give her something else to do than fight with her sister and worry about Ben. She was too strong a character in first season to now have her just waste away. Put her back on the streets and let her fight crime. Let her go back to being nosey about Jinny's business and eager about her new relationship with Gabe. Do something to get the spark back, because they really don't need to loose it.

I don't think she's great, but I don't think she's that bad either. She's trying, guys. Put your own kid (if not kid, sister, bf, etc) in Ben's spot and try to deal with it.
