Ya'll might remember me mentioning on here that I bought over internet auction an Aug 75 TIGER BEAT Magazine with Freddie in it. All the little blurbs on him were in it but the big main article on Freddie "Is He Too Cute Or Cool" that's supposed to be on page 23 & the color pic of him that's supposed to be on page 24 are missing from the magaizne. It looks like a few pages were torn out. I was suspecting it may have fallen out of the magazine & the seller didn't know it or either it was missing when the seller got it & they didn't know it. 10 clippings on Freddie came with it too! http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/smile.gif Well I wrote the seller to see if they know what has happened to it & can send it to me. The lady wrote back & the stuff was missing from it & she didn't know it. She's gonna try to send me something else Freddie to make up for it which is nice.

Anyways, she told me she was close to Tony Orlando and his wife when the suicide happened and saw a lot of pain that went on
around that time. She had saved some stuff on Freddie & Tony & then later felt she didn't have the room for it & was selling it but now feels like maybe she shouldn't out of her love for Tony. She felt guilty about it. She said that Tony had told her he'd lost contact with Freddie's mom. I guess cuz of her moving & couldn't find her address etc. Well she found out from him a cousin of Freddie's went to a show of Tonys & Tony got Maria's address from him & is now keeping in contact with her. Way to go Cheryl. I figured that Maria is alive because the vault next to Freddie is still empty. I just wish we knew about her. She has been missed too.

She can send me some neat stuff on Freddie to make up for what is missing. So that will be great. Unfortunately she can't help us out with finding Marias address cuz she is afraid to ask Tony cuz she feels Maria's addresss is a private thing that. Which is understandable so therefore she recommends you write Jrs fan club & see if it can get to her that way. She doesn't live in the US anymore tho so I guess she must be in Puerto Rico. She almost met Freddie once but didn't get there in time. She asked me not to go into too many details tho as it was private stuff she was sharing. That's great! What about his father? Is he still alive?

I think he died in 1978 or 79 from cancer. So sad. She lost both her loved ones so close together... http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/frown.gif

Awww,That's so sad.I know that he had cancer but,If he died in that short of a time after Freddie then I'm thinking that it could've been grief also.
