Im not obsessed or anything but I just heard about her a couple of weeks ago (I know ive been living under a rock) and I listened to some of her music and I love it! She totally rocks and to top it all off she is a cutie! Im glad I did some homework on her I plan to buy her cd!

I wasn't trying to start anything. If I wanted to do that, i'd be insulting her album, which is what the topic is about. If he can give his opinion on the SNL performances, i can too. I'm not ALWAYS ragging on her for no reason..I said i like a song from her album.

I thought she sound like crap at MTV's Pajama Party... but last night she showed that she has great singing capabilities during her performance of "I'm With You."

I love Avril, but I totally agree with you! What was wrong with her voice that night? Did she have a cold or something?

Excuse me? I thought Avril did really good on the MTV pajama party, except on Complicated, it wasn't bad though. Avril sounded perfect last night on SNL, I'd say its probably her best performance. Anyways, yes I love Avril too she's greaaaaaaaaat! :D

I didn't watch it. Did she do any of the skits or did she just sing?

Well Kristina said she was supposed to be in a skit but they cut it out so they just showed her sing.

As far as Avril's live performances I cant vouche because I havent seen her live, but most performers sound a lot better on cd than they do live. There are so many elements that can go in a live performance. She might have had a cold, or stress can do a number on a voice. In a recording studio they do about a thousand takes and dubb a lot of the stuff. Most performers that have really good live performances have been doing it for a long, long time. For instance in the groups that i have seen or singers. Ozzy was awesome Lynyrd Skynyrd was awesome and the Allman Brothers were awesome. I saw Alan Jackson a few years ago and it wasnt all that great and I saw Queen Latifah in concert when she was first out and she sounded terrible on stage. So I think it has a lot to do with how long a singer or group has been performing live.

Avril Rawx. She's pretty much all I listen to. But, at school today, 1 of my friends had me listen to 'Our Lady Peace' and they're awesome.

was it just me or did she look really sad during "I'm with you." She looked sad and at the end of the song, she sort of just smiled a little. *shrugs* But her singing was awesome.
