Remember that song by Debbie Boone? 'You light Up My life'.
They played it on the radio too much and all but, dog gone it, I liked it. And now LeAnn Rimes is singing a version of it. The melody of that song is just too good to not like. She does it well and she doesn't stray much from Debbie's original version.

Oh man, I haven't heard that song in years, but I love it. I loved it even as a kid and in fact it was one the first songs I got to choose to learn to play when I was taking piano lessons.

I saw Debby Boone in 1986 at the Memorial Stadium in Seattle. I really like her mid-80's stuff she did on Christian labels, really uptempo songs from albums like "Surrender", "Choose Life", and "Friends For Life". Lisa even duets on a song, "Above All Else." "Choose Life" is a great album.
