TheFonz...I'm really sorry for changing that on you, but there was already another thread about what I was talking about.

Anyways, I don't think I've ever had a stalker. But I DO hate it when people on the street stare at me, it makes me so self-concious. :o

I had one in 7th grade. I went out with this kid and then broke up with him after 1 month. He had already said I love you and I mean, come on! 7th grade?? Who knows if you love anyone? Anyway, after I broke up with him, he followed me EVERYWHERE and then he'd call and just breathe on the phone. It wasnt something I particularly liked, but he didnt hurt me, so I couldnt do anything about it, which sucked, but he eventually stopped.

Yeah, that's the same way with me. I'm way too dull to have a stalker.

No but my friend *almost* did. It was scary. She was talkin about it at lunch...she said someone called the school like twice and said she had to come home because her sister got in a car accident and stuff, but she didnt know who was calling and they called her dad and her dad didnt know what was going on, so the whole weekend her mom made her stay in her room below the windows. But it turned out it was her brother playing a joke.

Well, I had a one-time stalker once. I had been at a park near our downtown shopping mall and I saw this guy. I left the park and went walking through the shopping area next to the mall. I went into several stores along a three block stretch. Then I went into the mall.

This mall had two bookstores, one at each end of the mall. I went into one and looked at some books. I saw this guy; he looked somewhat familiar (since I had seen him about a half hour earlier), but I didn't really think much about it.

I left that bookstore and went to the other one at the other end of the mall. Looked at some books; saw the guy again.

I got spooked. I started going into various stores. I could see him waiting outside the door. I tried to lose him in Macy's by racing in one entrance and leaving through another, even leaving the mall and going back inside. He was still following me.

I went back into the mall, went up the escalator to the second floor. This was smack-dab in the center of the shopping mall. He was two or three people behind me. I waited for him and made a big scene, telling him to stop following me or I would go to the authorities. People were turning to see what was going on.

He was surprised by that. Heh!

He finally left me alone.

well, ive had the exes that called me a lot or tried to follow me around and a guy from school who was kinda weird online but i think he was drunk, I wouldnt count those as actual "stalkers" but I did have one, 2 years ago, that was pretty bad

it was this teacher, he was really young- maybe 26 max, and he worked in the studio that i spent a lot of time in after school working on videos or recording stuff, whatever. well, i started to notice that he kept showing up- in the hall, cafeteria, after school, he also asked me for my phone number and address "as part of a class survey" yeah right.
so this went on for awhile, he just seemed to be everywhere and i was a little on edge but didnt think it was anything. then he started hanging around a lot after school while i was working, just wouldnt go away. then one day he crossed that line and to make a very long story somewhat shorter, i got away and he didnt work there a week later.

this same guy is now being tried due to a case at another school where he worked after this incident.

I've had a few problems but the worst one was when I had first moved in to an apartment with my (now) husband. A man a few doors down - never met him, never spoke to him- started to follow me everywhere - work, store etc.. It went on for a year, the cops caught him several times at my work. The cops would sit outside the apartment and escort me to work every day (this guy had prior arrests but they wouldn't tell me what for). Problem was they couldn't arrest him unless he physically did something to me. Low and behold, I move to CA and about a year later I get a subpoena in the mail to appear before a NJ grand jury. This guy tried to kidnap a teenager so now they wanted to reopen my case so they would have more to charge him with. I never did appear but he did get time for attempted kidnapping.
