Can anyone tell me the name of the actress who played Violet Baines in the gilded cage episode of Chico, the silent film star that Ed loved?

I don't know if it was just because that was the way the character was written but I thought she way over acted, and she always walked around like she was exiting the stage ofter a major performance.

Maybe I am being to critical but I would love to know some of your thoughts on that.

Also is there any one else on the show, weather it was a regular, an extra or guest that got on your nerves and why?

Her name was Carmel Meyers. I haven't seen that episode for a while, so I don't remember her performance. I'll just take your word for it that she was over acting. As for getting on my nerves, Julie Hill who played Monica in the last six episodes. She was just a terrible actress. I can't really explain it. Maybe I shouldn't say terrible, but not very good. :wave:

Maybe Carmel was just used to playing in the silent movies, so over-acting was natural to her :lol:
