I really hated the I'm Rubber and You're Glue bit, but I think this episode is a lead in. I think the next episode will get back on track, with some drama. Something has to happen over there. I feel like besides the Nanny and Thanksgiving episodes, we're living out of season 8, without anything new happening, like the show has stalled. The Chandler/Monica bit wasn't too funny,however tonight's episode had some promise because they used Pheobe in ways they did towards the beginning of the series. She was hilarious as the extra and I hope they return to more of their traditional ideas such as this one. The Joey/Pheobe storyline made this otherwise bland episode worth watching. It deffinitely seems like they're slowingthe show down to wait for some interesting things to happen and I deffinitely think Ross will propose at the end of the season.

Hopefully they will have some romance between Rachel and Ross!

I always think this show is hilarious. In my eyes, the writers of "Friends", and the stars, can do no wrong. I loved the whole Phoebe/Joey bit. It was definitely the highlight of the show. I don't like the introduction of Dermot Mulroney's character (Gavin). But, maybe it will be good. It'll make Rachel realize that she's in love with Ross...I hope so anyway.

I hardly ever say this but I thought the episode was kind of boring. The best part was the Joey/Phoebe storyline and the best part of that was at the end when the security guards were chasing her.

I did enjoy the Phoebe and Joey storlyine but the others were kind of boring. It's not the fact that they were bad ideas, but it was because they weren't that funny. And I have one question, whatever happened to Mike?

Just because Phoebe has a boyfriend now doesn't mean he has to be in EVERY single episode. Of course, maybe it's just me. I've never had a real boyfriend, but I doubt I'd want to spend every waking moment with him. This is why I don't mind Mike not being there. It seems natural to me.

You do have a point but I thought they would have at least just mentioned his name. I don't think we have heard about him since Christmas. Now thinking about it I don't think we will ever hear about Mike again since the show will start to focus more on Ross, Rachel, and Gavin, or at least that what it seems judging by the promos.

The Phoebe/Joey bit was funny. They need more episodes where all six of them are in the same room. That...IMO is when the show is at it's best.

I have to say that I wasn't at all impressed with this episode. I don't mean to be too critical, but I barely laughed while watching and I found it tough to sit through. I did really like the Phoebe guest starring on Joey's show thing, but the rest was pretty much boring. And I understand that Rachel was mad about her job, I would be too, but didn't she seem just a tad bit too rude to the Gavin guy? I don't know, maybe it was just me...

I think they'll at least mention him again even if they don't show him. They won't just pretend that he never existed. They have to provide some kind of conclusion to the Mike storyline.

I didn't really enjoy this episode much either, though I thought the Phoebe/Joey story was the highlight! Other than that, I didn't laugh much at all, which is unusual!

That sounds like it could be a funny episode, I guess we'll have to wait and see though.

What exactly happened in last week's episode? Sorry, I missed it!

Rachel and Ross took Emma to Rachel's office to show her off, and there was this guy named Gavin who had totally taken over Rachel's job. He was sucking up to Mr. Zelner, really bad, and Rachel got kinda scared that she may not have a job when she came back. So she decided to come back that very day. The next day, Gavin had to give a presentation, and Rachel was mad because he wouldn't tell her what the presentation was about. He said it would take weeks to catch her up, and he didn't have time. He saw how upset she was about not being included, so he said she could do the presentation and he would watch Emma. Aw, how sweet...

Monica and Chandler were trying to find a new career for Chandler, and she got all excited because she could make files for each profession and use her label maker. While they were going through the jobs, Chandler was satisfied with the first one she named: advertising. Except, all of his attempts at creating slogans were incredibly pathetic. Example--Pants. Like shorts, only longer. He was able to land an unpaid internship with an advertising company that this guy Monica knew from high school owned. Chandler decided that since he wouldn't be getting paid and their income would be really low that maybe they should wait to have a baby. Then Monica made him realize that there would never really be a good time to get pregnant, and that they might as well do it now.

Joey got Phoebe a job as an extra on Days of Our Lives so she could earn some extra cash. At first she did really bad and the director was gonna fire her, then Joey talked to her and helped her improve. The next day she played a waitress in one scene (she had been a nurse the day before) and she didn't understand how that was supposed to work. She said her fans would be confused if they saw her playing a totally different character so soon, so Joey told her that she could pretend she was a nurse that moonlighted as a waitress. She was fine with that, but then he started telling her all this stuff about how her character slept with Drake and never called her again. Ended up, security had to throw her of the set because she was ruining all the scenes with her weird take on her roles.
