I thought I`d let ya`ll know... ------------------ Hillbilly Cheryl Harrell 11-12-2001, 04:51 PM Thanks for the info! Can't see it since we don't get cable channels on our satellite dish due to it being an old big dish & can't find a descrambler for it. I gotta go to my parents house tomorrow so I'll plan to be there then so I can see it. You'll need plenty of hankys for this one cuz it's so sad... Cheryl Harrell 11-14-2001, 07:11 AM Went to my parents house & saw the E- Hollywood Story since we don't have cable or paid satellite dish channels due to the fact that they don't have cable on our part of the road &we can't find a descrambler for our satellite dish. Guess what they did during the middle of it? They stopped & interrupted it. They said we have a late breaking news bulletin. Immediately thought Oh my God another Terrorist Attack or Anthrax scare. It turned out to be a news report saying that the lady comic Paula Poundstone had a meltdown in rehab or something & got back on drugs or something & was now gonna have to spend a month in prison. That ticked me off they would interrupt the program for something so trivial! http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/frown.gif It was nice seeing it on a big screen tv. During the first parts it was so nice to see him so big on the tv. Drool time! http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/smile.gif He is cute on there! The later sad parts of the show are sooo sad. First time I saw it I had to stop the videotape & go get a hanky so I learned to make sure I have one with me whenever I watch it. Which I did this time. I always cry my eyes out watching it & this time I did as usual. It was sooo sad. When they show the parts from the funeral like the hearse & casket & Jacks eulogy, it just breaks my heart so bad it has me bawling my eyes out. I can't bear to see that, it's so sad. It hurts to watch that. I wept my eyes out watching that, it was so sad. http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/crying.gif By the end of the show my hanky was all soggy. My hubby said he noticed I was acting as if I knew him. Well thru reading & doing all the CATM/Freddie message boards, reading articles on him, reading Maria's book, & reading all the CATM/Freddie sites, I do feel as if I know him, even tho I never met him. I think of him as a friend I never met yet. Bless his sweet heart. What a dear sweet Puerto-Rican boy! http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/smile.gif Anyway, that's what happened when they showed it this time... I never met him either, but I feel like I know him from what I've studied about him and believe you me, I've studied. LOL http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/lol.gif http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/love.gif Cheryl Harrell 11-14-2001, 06:50 PM I have an article on Freddie called CHICO'S LOVE LESSONS so I guess that's what we're learning LOL! BBqueen 11-14-2001, 11:57 PM Anybody who's just a little tired and worn out from hearing about the no-cable-descrambler-saga raise yer hand. Gee, if you spent less money bidding on stuff at ebay you just might be able to afford some cable. Cheryl Harrell 11-15-2001, 06:03 AM Sadly they don't have cable on the part of the road we live on even tho 2 subdivisions on our road have it. It's all a part of country living LOL! Our local cable system doesn't even get TVLAND. When from what I hear from locals the cable here is expensive & doesn't get all the good channels like TVLAND. Can't afford to buy everything on E-Bay. But we can dream tho. http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/smile.gif |
