Yesterday i was assigned to make a racecar thats due THURSDAY. I cant make a car in 2 days!!! Theyre sposed to be powered by ballons but how do u make em go?

In 8th grade we had to make a car that was propelled by a rubber band. I don't remember how I did it though. My big brother did most of the work. I'm so glad I'm not in school anymore.

Hmm.... what do you have to make them out of? Anything??

Today i spent the WHOLE DAY, i mean since the minute i got back from school, working on the car, and the damn thing wont work. I spent 5 or 6 hrs building it. I also had A TON of hw and i only got half of my math done cuz i was up so late doing it and my dad said that i dont hafta do it and hes gonna chew out the school for givin me so much **** to do in a day wooo! :) My teacher said that if it aint in by tomorrow, i get a 0 but i dont care i should at least get something for putting so much effort in it.

At my school, u stay there for an extra hour if u dont finish all ur hw. If they make me stay after then i'll refuse, but i wont be surprised at all if they do, cuz thats how it is there. My friend ditched it 1 time and almost got suspended so if they suspend me i wont care....my school needs to burn in hell :)

Good God, I'm sure glad I didn't go to your school. Yeah, you should get something for effort. Seriously, how in the world can you make a car like that go? You should take in what you have and explain to the teacher that you did your best. Did this project tie into anything, or did the teacher just say go home and make a car that will be powered by balloons?

That sucks. Yea.. 1 day to build it isnt enough at all. You SHOULD get credit for putting in the effort. Go Dad!!! Its nice that hes supportive.. a lot of parents wouldnt even care.

I remeber in 7th grade shop class we made Mouse trap race cars well they didn't go really fast but they weren't difficult to make we used old records for wheels and we put the mouse trap in the middle surrounded by wood pieces and we had wooden rods going throught the records but I can't remember how the mouse trap triggered the car to go because we weren't supposed to push them by ourselves.
