Yes. I never understood why everyone liked it so much. It was kind of boring, and too predictiable.

I loved it. The Brat Pack at its finest. The funniest line was when Judd Nelson asked the teacher, "Does Barry Manilow know you raid his wardrobe?" :lol:

lol- I love that line. Yeah, I like this movie. I like 16 Candles too.

The Breakfast Club was funny. What is Anthony Michael Hall & Molly Ringwald doing now? I wanted to see Anthony's 80's movie Out Of Bounds a long time ago but i still didn't get a chance to rent it yet. Has anybody seen that?

Anthony is doing the tv show 'The Dead Zone'. Molly just did a movie recently. I think it came on TNT, not sure about that though.

I've never seen this movie in its entirity. Then again, I was never a real big Brat Pack fan.

i actually just caught this movie on tv like a week ago. it was like 3 am and my boyfriend said it was his fave movie and so i thought id watch it. it was pretty good. i watched the last like hour, so i didnt get the whole thing, but it was a pretty deep movie. i would actually sorta like to see a remake of it. i think that would be cool. maybe in the next 10 years. im a big john hughes fan too. hes genius. i saw parts on 16 candles cos my mom wanted me to watch it. that movie is FUNNY

I like the part where they take the screw out of the door and the teacher gets pissed and moves the bookcase and then they're like didn't u know that's a fire hazard? and then he goes what the hell are you doing blocking the door with the bookcase?

which one is John Hughes? I like Emilio Estevez the best

Thanks for posting the pictires Jenny, it is interesting to see how they have changed and how they look currently istead compared to when this movie came out.

Anyways, I thought this was one of the best movies from the '80s, it had a talented cast and writing crew, I don't know how they could make this movie any better than it original was.

I agree that if they made a new one it wouldn't be as good as the original

Yes. This is one of my favorite movies of all time.
