Don't you hate when u go to the orthodontist and you want to get out fast, but it ends up taking like 2 hours because they're lazy and slow?

Ive never had braces (thank God)...so Im in&out of the docs really fast.

Im getting braces soon...lucky me, huh? And we have to go in all the time. It sucks, but theres nothing you can do.

LOl. They WANTED me to get braces...but I refused lol.

What I hated is whenever I had a friday off from school I had a 8:00 AM appiontment so I never got to sleep in:mad:

I need braces, I'm not getting the ugly kind. I want the clear bar ones (not invisaline, I heard it doesn't work). I'll probably get them later this year.

People in my orthodonist's office SUCK. They're all a bunch of people in like their 20's and they sit around and talk while your sitting in that stupid chair waiting for them to fix you so you can get the hell outta there. The orthodontist himself doesn't help cuz he just walks around and flirts with all of assistant people. I really dread going Friday cuz I'm gonna be there for like an hour because they're doing some big thing to me, which they don't bother to tell me what their doing, and plus my bracket came of and I think im going to have a nervous breakdown!

I like my ortho's office. They people there are cool

Lol, well I dont have that problem anymore but I know what you mean. Mine was usually really fast in doing the job but there were times that you had to wait, ugh, you'd read all the magazines and have the wallapaper memorized by the time he came out for you.

I just hate going to the orthodontist altogether. Sometimes I have to wait a long time for my orthodontist to see me cuz he has so many patients each day. Like....I wait there for twenty minutes and then when I finally go in he just examines the braces, says they are okay, and then I leave. So usually the actual appointment takes like, one minute...lol...unless he needs to change the wire or something.

I wish i could have had braces when I was younger but we didn't have the money. My teeth look horrible. You guys are lucky to get them.

OMG! It's exactly the same here, and it does SUCK! All I wanna do is get them off so my teeth aren't ****ed up but they take like 4 years to do it

At my orthodontist they were always quick at getting you to a chair but then you would have to sit there for like 10 minutes before anyone even came to you. That drove me crazy! :mad:

That's how it is for me too.

Does everyone have to wear a retainer? How many years min and max do ppl wear braces? Is it worth it? Also, if you refuse, what can yuo get done instead, surgery? Another thing, arent the clear braces expensive still? I'm asking cos I may have to get braces, and some other thingamajjigers wired to my mouth.

I have to wear a retainer and I know several ppl who have gotten theirs off and gotten one too, and most people have braces from 2-4 years. I don't think surgery works and the clear ones don't work
