They're making a sequel? This film should NOT have a sequel.

Let's just hope it's a good effort. Not all sequels have to be bad. I'm going to go check this out.

Well, it's certainly not going to star Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey. I'm going to avoid this at all costs.

I'll prob. avoid it too.

Geez, I remember I used to watch Dirty Dancing all the time. I bought the tape for my mom a long time ago, and I'd watch it like every day. lol

Believe it or not, I just watched Dirty Dancing for the first time last week. I'm a huge movie buff, but somehow this one escaped me. My niece loves the movie, so I bought her the DVD, and I watched it with her. It's really a cute movie. Patrick Swayze looked great in that movie. Where's he been lately?
It was cool seeing Jerry Orbach acting as a kind father instead of a sarcastic detective.
That last dance was a feel-good scene for sure.

The last thing I know Jen did was 'It's Like, You Know'. I think that was the name of the show. She looks really different. She had her nose worked on and she just looks pretty different because of that.

Somebody correct me if I have the wrong show listed.

Here's a pic I got from imdb.com.

That happens to me too. I love horror movies, but I've never seen 'The Exorcist' or 'Polterguiest (sp???) and that's like the most popular horror movies ever made, right? Everybody has seen those 2 movies. I haven't. I gotta catch them the next time they come on. Oh yeah, I've never seen 'Carrie' either.

Jenny, you must see those 3 classics, especially The Exorcist. Did you catch The Omen? That was scary.

I've never seen The Omen either. I'm sure some of you are probably reading this and thinking, didn't she say she likes horror movies if she hasn't seen all of those movies, what is she classifying as horror?

I like Night of the Living Dead. I even liked the 90s remake that they did. Yeah, they turned Barbara into a female Rambo, but it was still a pretty good movie. I like Dawn of the Dead.

Even those these aren't zombie movies, I like all the Psycho movies (except the remake) and IT.

I'll be watching the tv guide to see when those 4 movies come on.

I'm LMAO right now because that's exactly what I was thinking as I was reading it. Too funny. It's just a coincidence that I named one you didn't see on top of the ones you already listed. If you haven't seen The Shining, put that on your list too.
I notice that TV cuts horror movies to crap, so maybe you can rent them someday.

Add Halloween to your horror list too. In my opinion, Halloween was the scariest horror film I ever saw!

I've seen the first Halloween movie. The first two are awesome. I haven't bothered watching the other H movies.

Janice, I've got to add the Shining to my list too.

Your welcome *Shortcake*! :)

Dirty Dancing is a good movie but I can't watch it right now. The reason for that is because last year's prom was my first but I decided to go by myself rather than take a date (I couldn't find one). It was a move I would later regret as there was hardly a girl I could dance with. One of the songs played was (I've Had) The Time of My Life, which was played in the final scene of Dirty Dancing. Whenever I hear that song or watch the movie, I get really depressed. I'm not going to watch the film until after the prom, when I'm sure I will get a date this time.

"Dirty Dancing" is one of my favorite movies ever! I was just thinking about rewatching it the other day, but never got around to it. I love the end...it's like the end of "Grease." I could rewatch it again and again!

There are supposed to be talks of ANOTHER Grease sequel, only Olivia Newton John and John Travolta will be in it, if this goes ahead, the current plan of the movie is to revolve around a class reunion, but didn't they get married in the original grease?

I haven't seen Grease in years. I used to be the type that would watch it like everytime it comes on. Needless to say, I got tired of it. Even though I'm tired of the movie, I have to admit the movie was pretty perfect. It's good they got ONJ and JT back, but I still think they need to leave it alone. jmo
