I was watching CATM this morning,the old is gold episode about hiring retirees.
In the first scene you see Chico under a car and i noticed the shoes he had on.
I was wondering if those shoes could possibly have been his favorite pair that he was baried in later. Check it out.
I tried to picture how they must have looked with a black tux.

Wow, I didn't know he wore bummy looking shoes on the show. From what I can recall he always wore fancy looking dress shoes or show & dress boots on the show in & most of his pics. I do have a pic of him wearing what I'm wondering might be the beat up mocassins Kathy referred to.

I only remember him wearing two different pairs of shoes on the show...black ones and light tan or beige ones. I don't ever remember seeing him wear boots.
I thought the shoes that Kathy was refering to were regular shoes...not mocassins.

Yeah, you're right he wore dress shoes on the show. I remember in one episode him shining them on the show before going out on a date. I always noticed most mechanics wore work boots but Chico & Ed never did. THen again it's TV... I'd read somewhere his beat up shoes were moccasins but I don't really know since I never met him...
