 Ron Howard is a genious! The man has starred in two hit television shows as well as directed so many great movies. I can't think of many people who became a bigger success than old Ronnie boy.

Hi Animal Crackers! This episode about Ron on A&E is a repeat originally aired in the fall of 2000. It has aired numerous times since then. This week's theme is Hollywood Hotshots, and Ron made the cut! Usually when they rerun their episodes, they have a more up to date intro and ending commentary. I have it on tape and it well worth recording if you are a fan of Ron.

I especially enjoyed seeing his oldest daughter Bryce, who is just gorgeous, talking about her dad. She is also making her Broadway debut on Thursday night in "Tartuffe", which has been running in previews since early Dec. Info and a picture follows. I am sure that Ron will be there opening night, if anyone lives in NYC and wants to  hi to Ron. He had mentioned this when he was on the Caroline Rhea show in September.

Couldn't agree with you more, College Girl, MCOB and Chad Doody. I also love that Simpsons episode. Well, both actually, but especially the one with Kim B. and Alex Baldwin.

Thanks Peggy Sue for the picture of Bryce. She looks like the girl nextdoor, just like her dad who looks like the boy nextdoor. And I kind of figured Biography was a rerun, but wasn't sure.

I've always thought that Ron Howard is a fine actor. Very professonal. His talent really shows in his two long-running series ("The Andy Griffith Show" and "Happy Days").

I finally saw it, too bad A&E didn't make a 2 hour show like they did John Travolta's. His parents did a great job raising both Ron and Clint. Now Ron & Cheryl are doing the same with their kids. I'm so happy for them. Sometimes nice guys do finish first.

It was good, I liked seeing some of his home movies. I hope they do Henry Winkler soon.

Yep. I watched Ron Howard's commentary on his movie, A Dangerous Mind. Basically, it was the movie scene by scene but instead of words, the viewer hears Ron's commentary on the movie. He explains that his wife is in a scene of the movie (as his his daughter and father). He says that he has put his wife in a scene of every movie he filmed since he was shooting movies in film school. He explained that having her in his movies is his "good luck charm."
