In the Sunday paper comes USA WEEKEND. For those who didnt get it or read it.. here it is. People write in asking about celebrities. This one about Fonzie!!

Q. My favorite Happy Days character was the Fonz, played by Henry Winkler. Is he still working in show business?

 They dont know what hes been doing?!? :boxing: LOl

A. He has a hand in all aspects of the business: producing game shows and family programs, raising funds for kids charities, and occasionally acting onscreen and onstage. "If you need something done, you give it to a busy person," says the former Fonz, 59. (Former?!?! LOl) This spring he'll be seen in Disneys HOLES, based on Louis Sachars darkly funny novel about a kid sent to a detention center for a crime he didnt commit. Last month he premiered WintTuition on the GameShowNetwork. He'll especially be proud that the prize, $50,000 goes to college tuition, but he is glad hes not a contestant: "Im better at watching. I took the same geometry class for four years." Winkler also just co-authored a novel aimed at 4th graders, Hank Zipper: The Mostly True Confessions Of The Worlds Best Underachiever, due in May.

I want the book!!!!!!!!!

:faint: How can anyone be a Fonzie fan and NOT know what Henry Winkler is doing? Now, granted, I am not much of a Henry fan myself except that I keep an eye on him because he played my first true love (Fonzie). It broke my heart when Henry told Conan (about playing Fonzie), "Now, I was never cool. THAT was acting!" *sobs* Tell me it isn't true, Henry. Oh, please tell me that it isn't true. And I still can't get the image out of my mind of Henry sitting on Conan's show wearing purple socks with a turquoise sweater. Talk about a fashion emergency! But, I still love Henry. Even with all his flaws.

Yeah, Henry is dislexic and he never did very well in school. I've read that he detested school and the only thing he enjoyed about it was being able to act in the school plays. But, his parents stopped letting him act in the plays because his school work was suffering so badly. Henry's parents never realized that Henry had a calling to be in the industry. They wanted him to take over their business when he got out of school, which he didn't want to do. There's a book which deals with how miserable Henry got while pursuing acting because there were times when he was giving up hope at finding work, but he knew he didn't want to return home and face his parents as a failure. Luckily, he never had to.
