Ever notice that Wally always wore very thin belts, for which the pant loops seemed much too large? Was that really a style for the day? Did LITB ever influence clothing styles, or did it merely reflect them?

I also noticed with his belts that they always buckled on the side.

That sounds very familar. Somebody else used to wear the belt buckle on the side. Was it Elvis in the 50s?

i think the thin belts were the style back then:cool:

I read that thin belts for men were very much in style during the 1950's. I have also read that it was considered "cool" to wear the belt buckle on the side.
