I was amazed how many still love the show, like myself. I am a male, and it seems that mostly, there are women on here, but that`s fine. I watched the show as a child, and I loved it and Freddie, but what attracted me wasn`t his looks or anything, (obviously, being a male), and I`m not knocking anyone here....I think you`re great for supporting the show.......I saw a very funny, and talented guy there with a very good sense of timing and warmth and humor, which came out in the Chico charactor. He braught that to the show. And combining him with Jack and Scatman made a very entertaining and unique combination. That`s what drew me to the show and still does. I`m sure that you can all identify with all that. After Freddie died, I was a confused young boy, and didn`t understand. I think Freddie needed help he didn`t get, and maybe he couldn`t see the light at the end of the tunnel. But I love him for the talent and warmth and humor he gave us through the show. While some may not see that, I know I sure do, and I`ll never forget it either......

They sure don't. I remember when Family time was just that. Sigh. There are good shows on today, but you have to really glean through the trash to get to them.
"Oh Louie, read any good trash lately?"

Hi!
I just wanted to say that I'm with y'all. They don't make shows like they used to. Shows today often leave little to the imagination and let's face it, we all love a little mystery. Like when that van door was closed, you wanted to know what was going on, but still it was better to guess then know exactly, am I right? ;)LOL and oh! Don't even get me started on those darn reality series!:bash:
As for Chico, OK, Don't hit me PLEASE! LOL But I have never seen Freddie the way others here do. I guess to me, I know that he was old enough to be my father, so I'm not ga-ga over his looks. I admit that he was a handsome fella, but like you said, Scott, there was so much more there. I know that all the ladies here agree with that, but the outside cover is just the icing on the cake. :D ;)

Slap! :) :) I used to not be into his looks in the 70's & only enjoyed the show but when the re-runs came on TVLAND that's when I discovered how cute he was! :) He grows on you & boy does he grow on you! :)
