Hallmark is no different from what 'Odyssey' used to be! They promised "Facts of Life" was a permanant thing, but you see they don't care too much about fans, they broke a promise. They bring back and drop "ALF" so many times, until fans lost faith in the once great network. I just say down with Hallmark and start voicing and pleading with other cable networks. Facts of Life and ALF are great shows, I don't understand why the other cable networks aren't seeing that. I don't understand why the rights for ALF isn't being pulled from Hallmark, they need to be, ALF will never have a future on Hallmark, nor will FOL have a future, muchless a life there. So in the future when Hallmark makes a promise, DON'T BELIEVE IT! The Hallmark Channel doesn't care about what you think, they only thing they care about is the big $$$. Besides, what happened to "The Lucy Show" airing on Hallmark? I hear that idea is now gone. As for N@N, I miss the old Nick at Nite tremendously, but I really do think the new N@N is getting better. Although it'll never be as good as it used to be. TVLand rocks, I just miss MAUDE and the "Fandomonium Weekend" thing, they were doing that with Sanford & Son this weekend.

Not necessarily, Hallmark still owns the rights to The Facts of Life and ALF except they're on hiatus at the moment. That dosen't mean that it will never be aired again, it has just left the schedule temporarily. There is still hope that both of these shows will be aired once again, otherwise we all need to be patient, and wait.

As for The Lucy Show I think they still own the rights, although when they had it listed, they never kept their word that they would be airing it anytime soon. So they must've changed their minds so basically, they shouldn't have had it listed in the first place.

But since they didn't air it at that time, it dosen't mean it will never come back to the channel, just not in the immediate future.

But if you do go to their website, they do have a survey to fill out for what viewers think should be added to their network, and The Lucy Show is one of them that will be on there. The link is below for you to check out:

Yes I know they're all on hiatus at the moment. But the whole point of my posting was that I'm making a point to viewers that Hallmark is playing mind games, but probably not meaning too. They take 'em off and put 'em on, people lose track of the shows. As for me, if I see ALF on Hallmark again, I'll watch it, but I won't expect it to stay long. You reall have to expect that from them though, it happens all the time. They may still have rights, but they're putting and pulling the programming. An average viewer doesn't know they still have rights when they pull a show from their lineup, they just assume "well it's not on anymore," not too many people really care enough to search the web to find out if Hallmark still has rights. Personally, I think the guys who syndicates them needs to just pull it and start searching for a better cable network.

That's true, but for those people who continuesly watch a network, they can always check if it will be coming back, but some people have no idea that it be coming back, so there is some ups and downs. I don't like it either, when networks switch promgramming to new time-slots or whether it's off the air, so I can see how irratating it can be.

I know too, I was dissapointed when The Facts of Life left, I thought it will never be coming back, and they only aired one rotation, but I knew they wouldn't leave it there to collect dust, so I thought their was still a slim possibility that it may be coming back, even right now, I'm not so sure, LOL. So I know how you feel.

I think it might help a little, if you e-mail them requesting to bring the show back, they might take it into consideration, and if more viewers send in their thoughts and opinions, there could be a chance they might put it back on the air again.

Thanks, I'll do that. If they do consider, notice how I said IF, and they decide to bring them back, it'll be on for 3 months then they'll pull it. So we can't win with Hallmark

You do have a point there, once they air the series, they are most-likely going to drop it and add/replace new shows to their schedule, and after that if were lucky they might air it once more.

I guess it depends on what's best for their network and for their viewers, if the show is sucessful on their network, they might decide to keep it, if it isn't they decide not to air it.

Maybe they will get to thinking that they need to keep some of their shows in order to maintain their network and have the ability to make their network watchable for everybody.
