I love this group. I like their album Aja that had the hits on it Black Cow, Deacon Blues, Peg. I also like their album Gaucho that came out in 80. It had the hits Babylon Sisters & Hey Nineteen. I also liked Donald Fagen's The Nightfly album that came out in 82 or 83 i think. Donald Fagen was the lead singer of Steely Dan.

I wore out my first copy of A Decade of Steely Dan. I think Kid Charlemagne is my favorite tune of theirs.

Rappers Lord Tariq & Peter Gunz sampled Black Cow for their Deja Vu song 5 yrs ago. Naughty By Nature also sampled Steely Dan's Third World Man song for their Live Or Die song with Mystikal & Silkk The Shocker. I'm still wondering what happened to Lord Tariq & Peter Gunz, i liked their debut album.

I love Steely Dan! I can't pick an overall favorite, but "Midnight Cruiser" would be one of my top picks.

They're cool and their music is well written. :)
