View Full Version : The Marathon Episodes are ALL mixed up!

Well as someone pointed out yesterday, a few of the episodes were out of order early on in the marathon. I just started listing the tapes I've done over the marathon and marking which episodes I have and they've shown a few of season 5 and 6 mixed in with 4 while skipping a LOT in between! Any reason in particular they might do this? Is this a common thing to do in these types of marathons? Kind of messes some things up doesn't it!

I'd like to know if this is an older fandemonium marathon. Notice they don't have the split credits and I don't think they have voice overs either.

There are voiceovers; no split credits. I've seen a dozen promos airing during it; they are promoting it's return like crazy. I hated that they skip episodes. Why not just run the episodes in complete order for 48 hours, much easier, LOL. I gave up taping after episode 40.

Actually, there was a Sanford & Son fandimonium before this one, it aired back in September 23-24, in 2000, so there is a possibly a chance that is was re-ran, then it was edited around a bit for promos and commercials.

I would have liked to have seen the episodes in order also, it seems like they care more about their promos then what they're actually airing, LOL.

lol, so true.

I'm a bit worried. I know, I worry about weird stuff. It's just that TVL is showing Sanford and Son about 4 or 5 times a day, and I'm worried that some people are going to start complaining about that. I know I've complained many days about shows that I don't like, some that I even like coming on so many times a day. Don't get me wrong, I'm so happy that Sanford and Son is back. It's just that some people don't like S & S and it might make some people start complaining. I know TVL is just trying to promote the show and all that, but I still can't help worrying about it.

Yes, I know I'm weird thinking about stuff like that.

I just don't get why they didn't run them all in a row and then put the ones they did not show in the regular time slot later. Will have to really pay attention to when the others run then to make sure I get them all.

As long as they show them all I guess it's fine but it does mess me up a bit.

And GOD that song is still driving me crazy!

Get an episode guide. That's the easiest way to keep track of the episodes. I usually print my episode guides and highlight the ones that I get. However, you can do the same thing on your computer. I did this with the Archie Bunker's Place and Batman episode guides. I just copy and paste an episode guide into Word and use the highlight option to highlight the eps that I get.

That would require me to learn how to use Word though ;)

I actually made a couple notebook text and have been putting things in there. When it gets more complicated I guess I'll have to work harder at it. :)
