I got in the mail while I was gone the Freddie ENQUIRER newspaper that I had bought over E-BAY recently. I plan to put it on my site. Since it may be along time before I get it finished here is some stuff I learned from the article...
Cute pic of Freddie on the front of it. The pics with the article are one of Freddie & Kathy & one of Freddie's Parents with Tony Orlando at the funeral.
Freddie:
Played Russian roulette trying to kill himself.
Drove his car recklessly hoping to kill himself.
Was happy in NYC but after he got his fame in LA became depressed & suicidal.
The CATM cast & crew like James Komack James Komack & Jack Albertson never knew that Freddie was suicidal or how bad off he was. He would smile & act like everything was okay on the set. Alone off set was when he would show his depression. The only folks that knew he was depressed & suicidal was close friends like comedians Alan Bursky & David Brenner.
He would put the safety on his gun, put it to his head & pull the trigger.
Played Russian Roulette in front of Alan Bursky & smiled at him after doing it.
Wanted Alan Bursky to sign a death pact with him.
When he got the divorce papers & restraining order Kathy charged in I that Freddie had refused to give her sufficient funds to maintain their household & take care of her & the baby. (I find that hard to believe cuz he loved the baby so much...)
The day he died he was in a good mood all day & acted okay to his hairdresser & James Komack.
Freddie still loved Kathy.
He sent her flowers that day he died which was her birthday & did not forget to send her flowers on her birthday. In his appointment book he had written in there Kathy's Birthday-- send flowers.
Next to a notation about the Golden Globe Awards which were going on the day after he died, he wrote. Not attending.
It also talks about his obsession with the Zapruder film of JFK'S death which he liked to watch a lot & also tells about his pretending to kill himself in front of Carol Novak.
It's so sad... http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/frown.gif
