I was looking for some Freddie Sr. sites and I got really disgusted. The junk that people are writing about him. I was a young gal in the 70's and I enjoyed all the sitcoms back then. Chico and the man, Good Times, Sanford and son, Bewitched, Three's Company, All in the family, Maude etc....... These sitcoms were all we had back then. They entertained us the same that Friends and Buffy entertain today's teens and young people. I just get angry at people writing about someone they don't even know or cared to know. I was a huge fan of this man Freddie Prinze and I loved him. Sure he took his life, but I will always love him until the day I die..... I was in love with him back then and I bought everything I could get my hands on just to see what he was doing. I just get angry at some of the stuff that's written about him and by people who never even cared to find out about him. If they did they would see him as a gifted comedian and actor. He suffered enough. Let him R.I.P.

Where are they blasting our sweet Freddie? The #$%@ Leave our Freddie alone!

JennyLee, you are not alone! I agree with the feelings you so adequately expressed. I, too am angered by these types of libelous and slanderous remarks. I don't even visit these sites because I refuse to even dignify them by visiting. I am not going to put myself through it. As in life, this incredible young man is still misunderstood and victimized. They did not know him and do not have any regard for his memory or his loved ones.

It is disgusting. People like us who love him are still grappling with his leaving, let alone being hurt by the callous and thoughtless comments of some people.

Nothing and no one can ever change the feelings I have for Freddie. He means to much to me to let some (expletive deleted) affect my love for him. How dare they speak ill of him?! People who are coming from a negative place regarding him --I simply block them out. I don't even hear them.

I agree with you too. What sites are doing this? Y'all know me...I'm not afraid to open my mouth..LOL

I've seen the JUMP THE SHARK site before. I think alot of those sites are sites that are on old TV Shows & not just CATM/Freddie like our family of CATM Sites are & they just have a section on CATM & so all kinds of people get on there & write goofy or hateful stuff. Go to the index where it says A to Z...click on the first letter of the show..."C". Then click on CATM. It will bring up what looks like a message board with comments...some are truly accurate as to the show's demise...but some are downright mean and nasty. It makes me wonder if these people even watched the show at all. There are no names as to who left the messages and I don't see a place where anyone can respond.

AHA! I found it. If you click where it says VOTE on the left hand side it will take you to a form...fill it out and leave your comments.

After reading the comments that were made on that "Jump the Shark" thing I just had to add my two cents worth. I went to the vote section and signed in and that's where I posted a paragraph on how I thought CATM was one of the best shows of the 70's and how I thought it had an outstanding cast.
I kind of went overboard on my admiration for Freddie Prinze and what a wonderful comedian/actor he was and how I think that if he would have gotten the help that he needed, today he would be an even bigger star. I got an immediate reply saying "thank you for jumping the shark" blah, blah, blah so at least I know they received my paragraph. Now I wonder if they'll print it on that same page with all that other stuff.

They did it! They added my comment to the Jump the Shark section. Mine is the one that starts out "I found CATM to be one of the outstanding comedies of the 70's, etc." At least now I know they're posting some positive remarks too. However, I did notice that most of the comments seem to agree that Freddie Prinze actually MADE that show and that it was not nearly as good after he died. I hated the comment that CATM was about as sharp as a cue ball!!!!!!! I didn't like the crappy comment about his tight jeans either.
