I read about this genius in the paper this morning, and I copied this from the IMDB...

A man who changed his name to Jack Ass is to sue MTV for plagiarism.
The 44-year-old from Montana, U.S. is seeking $9 million from the firm he claims is defaming his name with their comedy show Jackass.
Jack Ass was known as Bob Craft until 1997. He claims he is "liable for injury to a reputation I have built up and defamation of the character I have created."

I wonder if his wife's name is Candy Ass...

Why did this guy wait until now to sue? The show started in October of 2000 and was cancelled last year.

Probably because "Jackass - The Movie" made 64 million bucks at the box office...

Prob. so

I read that last night too. For a second there, I thought I'd went to the tabloid page or something. Who the hell would change their name to Jack Ass?

Even so, he still waited until the theatrical showings were over. He could have sued after the first week, when the movie was tops at the box office. I think it's just a get-rich-quick scheme.

It's insane. You should know automatically that fast food is bad for you, but if you are an idiot and couldn't tell automatically- maybe that person should weigh after eating something. Whoa, I gained a few pounds. Maybe I should avoid that food.

The smoking case is just as bad. You light up, you have a chance of dying of cancer later on. Sorry, you took your chance.

Damn, I should've sued some nail polish companies. What was the name of that brand that caused me all that bother? Ah, it was Sally Hansen. I had this pretty blue color. It wasn't dark blue, it was light blue. I put it on my nails and a few days later when I remove the polish, I found out that the color stained my nails. They stained them blue! It took forever to get the blue to come out. I read somewhere that denture cleaner removes stains off fingernails, and lets just say that I used a lot of cleaner on my fingernails. *sigh* If only I had let the blue stains stay on. I bet I could've won my lawsuit. I can always paint them that color again. ;)

Oo0o..SH. I just bought one of their new nailpolishes.. the one that reflects different colors in light. Havent used it yet. I use a lot of nail polishes and I noticed that the CoverGirl brand ALWAYS peels off the next day. OPI, MaxFactor, and Revlon work best for me.:D Thats weird it made your nails blue. I know if you use dark nailpolish it stains your nails a yellowy hue, but not the same color..weird!

You bought the Prism kind? That stuff is so cool. I've got about 3 or 4 bottles of the Prism kind. It's entertaining to hold your nails down at a low level and it be a blue color. Hold it up a bit higher and it turns light purple. Hold it up a bit higher and it turns a dark purple and then hold it up really high and it looks green. That's so cool.

Ugh, I know what you mean. Over the years, I've bought quite a few nail polishes and every one of them charges a ridiculous price and the stuff peels the next day.

Have any of you tried that Cover Girl kind that makes designs on your nails? It's not really designs, it makes squiggly lines across the nail. What's that stuff called? Cracked? That doesn't sound right. I'm warning you guys, do not buy that kind. Oh damn, I had one helluva time trying to get that stuff off. It just wouldn't come off at all with nail polish remover. It took forever to get the stuff off. Most nail polishes, you just dip your finger in the remover a couple of times and the polish comes off. Not with Cracked brand.

Edit: It's Crackle. That's the brand I was talking about above.

Oh yes.... thats what its called! LOl. Yeah same here- Ill buy a bunch of nailpolish and itll peel! Its not like I put 2 coats on w/o letting the first dry first either.. I do it the right way and it comes out like crap. I bought the cracked stuff a few years ago!! LOl. It didnt work too well for me. I didnt have a problem taking it off, but I remember that youre suppose to put it on top of another color.. it hardly even "cracked" on me! It looked like I got too lazy to finish the job. You know what kind of remover I like? I like the gel. Ohh!! I also love the one in the bottle (its a liquid) that you pump.. just like @ a salon! Ugh, but dont pump it too hard or your fingers will get soaked.

It cracked somewhat for me. I just prefer painting lines on my nails by myself now. It comes off a lot better by painting the lines by yourself.

I've tried the gel kind. It does work pretty good. I like the sponge kind. It eliminates the messes. Just stick your finger into the sponge a few times and it comes off.

Ohh yea..Ive got the thin seperate brushes so its easy to do designs. Its a pain though trying to do my right hand because Im not a lefty and my hand shakes lol. I also like putting on the jewels and stuff. Everytime I grow all my nails long enough to do a french manicure or do some nice designs, one of them breaks @ work!

Yeah, it's difficult doing my right hand too. I don't put on the jewels and the really big glitter. I bought a brand at Cato's that had big red, silver, and blue stars in it. I painted them and I think the next night I had to wash my hair. Some of the stars started to come off, so I just started picking the rest of them off.

I am so disgusted when I grow my nails out really long and one of them breaks. Ugh, it's annoying.

I think I'm also compulsive with nail polish. You know how some people are all the time washing their hands? I'm that way with nail polish. I have to have something on my fingernails. If I was at school and a chunk of the nail polish would chip and expose my bare nail, I'd freak out. I have to have my fingernails covered or I'll freak out. I was about to paint white out on my nail, for God's sakes. I decided not to take that route, so I went to get a band aid and put it on my fingernail and like the second I came home I painted the nail. It's just weird how I act at times.

LOl, wow. I remember back in 5th grade whiteout was the cool thing to do-- I just never got into it. Ohh yes, Im like that too!! ESPECIALLY if theire freshly painted. I like my nails to look nice all the time. I also hate it when you break the nail AFTER its painted- OMG it makes them look like crap. Then it starts to peel, then you look @ them and notice that only one nail is really short. I like my nails nice and long, but I refuse to get acrylics put on. My nails are very healthy and theyd be ruined for a while. Although, sometimes I buy the glue on ones @ stores- they only last about a week, which is good cause thats the shelflife of my attention span for them lol. I like the Kiss brand best- they stay on really good most of the time.

There was a man at my old job named Dick Hair. His full name was Richard, but Dick is a common nickname for Richard, and that's how his name was printed on the company directory. Why you'd prefer Dick when YOU KNOW your last name is Hair is beyond me!

Did you happen to note the date of the article at imdb.com? I read this article somewhere else a while before Jackass was released in the cinema- and considering how long it takes sometimes for the media to publish something- the series was probably in production still. Anyway- the guys relative, a cousin I think- was drinking and driving or doing drugs and driving and was killed. So as a message to those foolishly risking their lives with drugs, he- in a senseless move which I can't see affecting anyone- called himself Jack Ass. It's stupid, because calling yourself jackass won't add to the cause of preventing foolish death.

Their all get rich quick schemes. Did you guys hear about the guy and mobile home? He bought one of those car homes, where you can travel with them. And he left the engine on for a while and the whole car caught on fire. And then he sued the company that made it, because he said no where in the paperwork did it say it was a hazard to leave your cars engine on for a while. And he got like 2 million bucks. It's like it's common sense, but he probably already knew what would happen, and he just wanted the money.
