When if Bob Barker died today.
What would happen to the price is right? Would it cancel and go syndication and transform it into a half hour show making it stupid (God I would hate that)
What do you think?

I'm sure they would not replace him. Maybe it would go into reruns or something..

Yeah, I hope it goes into reruns.

I'm sure they would either try to replace Bob with some young comedian which is the norm today.
Actually, I'd like to see the show go into reruns, but I just don't see that happening.

I don't even want to think about it if Bob died! He's my all-time favorite game show host and the Price is Right is my all-time favorite game show! I get it on three stations: CBS, Global, and Prime! It wouldn't be the same if a new host took over, Bob is a legend!
Of course, there have been so many Barker's Beauties over the years, does anyone notice that the newer beauties don't stay as long as the original ones did! Janice Pennington stayed for 28 years, followed by Dian Parkinson and Holly Hallstrom who both stayed for 18 years, and Kathleen Bradley who stayed for 10 years. Nikki Ziering and Heather Kozar both quit last year and Chantal Dubay quit after 3 years. Cindy Margolis and Gena Lee Nolin lasted a year. Anitra Ford lasted 5 years and she was an original beauty who started along with Janice in the beginning! Claudia Jordan is the only one left from last year! They're picking two replacements this year!
There were two announcers, the original one, the late Johnny Olsen, and current one, Rod Roddy, plus substitute Burton Richardson. I think Burton would be a good replacement if Rod decided to retire, his voice is just as enthusiastic as Rod's!

This is still a business so I'm sure if Barker retired or passed on, they would try to replace him.
