Despite what rumors you may hear, they actually found his dead body in the bathroom of the hotel room where he was staying that night with his girlfriend. He is dead

i dunno... i think he might be alive.

did anyone else hear that thing on the news about those people in that small town that claim to be harboring elvis- one lady goes grocery shopping for him, etc.. the whole town was apparently sworn to secrecy only this one person told the media.

:confused: who knows.

I say he's dead.. even if he didn't die when he supposedly did, I doubt he would have survived this long what with all the drugs and such.

He's alive, I have different feelings sometimes though. I believe when they first said he had died he really didn't, probably for publicity or something I have no clue. I think he could have died between then and now, but not when they said.

No one heard the story that they found his body in Argentina after he shot out the t.v. for playing a bad rerun of Hogan's Heroes while entertaining a certain Herr "Adenoid Hynkel" in a local bierhall in Buenas Aires? I don't know... I'm kinda iffy... he could be and maybe he's not. So, I can't vote in the poll.

There's too many weird things going on... all the things I've heard:

Elvis's middle name is misspelled on the gravestone. Now, why if he was really dead would nobody correct this humongous mistake? I mean, the guy was a legend. He deserved to be burried under the right name. I've also heard that he was really superstitious and wouldn't tempt fate by putting his real name on the gravestone.

They say that if he's alive he's going by his dead twin brother, Jesse's(Jessi?) name.

My aunt said that one of her friend's went to the funeral and that the body did not even look real. And some are saying that it was wax... and there were bead of sweat on it.

They are saying that he wanted to get away from all the publicity. That he couldn't lead a normal life and needed his privacy.

If he is alive, I would think it's past the statue of limitations for them to persecute him now. I don't even know if they would have a case for him because the gravestone does say, "Elvis Aron Presley" so, technically, that's not him. His name is Elvis Aaron Presley.

They are also saying that he watched his own funeral(kinda hard to believe)and even have a picture of his shadow.

But then again... why after all this time would he come out if his death really was faked? Wouldn't you think that seeing his daughter take up with Michael Jackson would force him to try and do something to stop it? Seemed like I had some other points as to how he couldn't really be alive... but I done forgot them. :-)

Yeah, I brought up those points in that Elvis Alive music special post over on the music board.

It's just weird when you combine all the question marks together. Part of me says that he might still be alive. Then the other says that Elvis was really into prescription drugs, he got overweight and when you combine the two and you abuse the drugs- it only leads to death.

Elvis is alive, of course!!:D

Oh meangya. When I meant alive I meant ALIVE in spirit. Obviously hes not really alive. Its like when I watch the Brady Bunch or All In The Family.. I watch it thinking that Robert Reed and Carrol O'Conner's still alive.. but theyre not. And yes, ELVIS IS ALIVE!!:rock:

Elvis is very obviously dead.
I think, deep down, even his most die-hard (no pun intended) fans are aware of this fact so I don't understand why people perpetuate the absurd notion that he's living on the moon or hiding a wee hut in the woods somewhere with Lord Lucan!

Welll naturally elvis is dead, But the question could mean alittle more than what u think. I mean think about it. Dont think of it as, is elvis walking and breathing our air now, but think of it as, Does Elvis still live on.

I heard awhile ago that Elvis Presley, had the #1 selling single (cd) in the country, or world, but I aint sure. Also Many people immitate Elvis and admire and worship, and respect him. There are people who still enjoy his movies and acting in general. There are others Who Have many many rare and valuable items of elvis that they would never sell for money, but because they repect Elivis Preseley and would never let there prized posesons get out of there sight. There are people who polish and clean there Elivis popsesons. Many have and saved autographs and concert tickets. There are people who now are listening to his cd peacefully, and others jamming to the songs. Some People are even watching his movies at this moment. And otheres Maybe crying over his loss. They may b people praying for Elvis, family member or not. There were many people who were touched by the doocumentary on elvis on the news in Michigan last year, around the country, and maybe world-wide.


Elvis Presely, may have done some right or smart things in his life, like drugs, sex, and many other things. But People Still respected him.

I may have never really understood, or listened to Elvis, or watched any of his movies, but I am only 12, and Elvis wasnt part of my time. But I bet he was part of your lives and maybe still is today. Because Elvis is partof many people live still to the day.

Many people mourned over Elvis's Death, and others may have done the same, but still believe he is alive to this day. They believe he is here in spirit and heart. And Some believe he is still so loved and popular, that it is impossible to say he is dead. Elvis Presley was a good man. And as I said Before many believe he is still alive to this day. Do you?

My mum says when she and her friends heard Elvis had died they spent the day playing Elvis records and crying. It must've been such a sad day. :(

Actually Elvis's middle name was spelled Aron, cause I remember watching a biography on him when I was younger and thought it was funny that his middle name was spelled different. :)
