Rue's birthday isn't until next month (Feb. 21) but her annual
birthday guestbook is now open. Like last year, I decided to put it
up early so plenty of people would have a chance to
sign it. It will be available until February 15 or 16, then it will be

I know, that's incredible as it's only been up since January 1st. Last year had 420 signatures, which is gonna be tough to beat, but there's still over a month left. So I think it's possible to top last year. C'mon everybody, if you haven't signed, what are you waiting for! :D

One thing I've noticed that's really cool is that there are A LOT of people from England and Australia signing this year. I know GG reruns came back on in the UK a year ago, but the show must be becoming increasingly popular in Australia as well.

Happy 69th birthday to Rue on February 21! I've watched you as Blanche on "Golden Girls", Vivian on "Maude", Fran on "Mama's Family" (I forgot about this and I watch the show on TBS when I'm home) and guest-appearances on "Ladies Man", "Alice","Boy Meets World", and "All In The Family". You look amazingly young for your age, just like Blanche!

Nope, she's turning 69. I have her college senior yearbook (well, not HER copy but from that year) and I had gotten an invite to her 50th high school reunion, so trust me on this one, LOL!

Rue is an absolute sweetheart. I'm glad the birthday guestbook has become such a big thing--that so many people sign it--because she really deserves it.
