Here's a tragic twist to the devastation in New York that has a link to Freddie.
Catcopy sent me an e-mail the other day that was from a newspaper that listed all the passengers on ALL of Tuesday's planes. As I scrolled down the long list of names, one name caught my eye as being familiar. It was a woman by the name of Berry Berendsen. She was the widow of actor Anthony Perkins (Psycho)...anyway...the night before the New York tragedy I was watching the tape of when Freddie co-hosted the Mike Douglass show...the guests on that show was actor Anthony Perkins and his then newlywed wife, Berry Berendsen. How sad and ironic that Freddie has a small link to the nation's tragedy. http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/frown.gif

chicosladyfair, that is truly ironic! And so very sad--she was a beautiful woman and a talented photographer. Just the other day I was watching her and Anthony Perkins on the Mike Douglas show tape, and I really enjoyed seeing them interviewed together in an early stage of their marriage. They seemed very happy and had had their first child about a year before. I knew her husband had been dead for a few years now, but the show got me wondering what had become of her. Now I know, and it just proves once again that no one has remained untouched by this tragedy.

I'd never heard of her before but am sorry someone realted to Freddie pass on in this tragic thing. So sad how many lives were lost...

Thanks Chicosladyfair for the info. I had only heard about Anthony Perkins' widow once, and I wasn't sure if I had heard it corretly either. Also one of the creators of Frazier was on one of the planes. His name was David Angell. And just an FYI to Cheryl--- I don't believe Berry was any relation to FP Sr. Just a tragic coincidence.
