It is so hard to pick a favorite character on the DVD show. I love them all for different reasons. This show had excellent character development. There are some wonderful character actors on this show that pop up on several episodes: Frank Adamo, Patty Regan, Johnny Silver, Amzie Strickland to name a few. I think this is why it is my all time favorite show! By the way, I am so happy to have found this board! I had been checking pretty regulary on Doug Denoff's TDVDS site to check on the status of his DVD collection and his recent post brought me here. I am so happy to have found fellow fans!

Rob's my fave character. I have been in love with Dick VanDyke since I was a little kid, and that's a long time! He's one of the most versatile actors around; can do comedy, drama, slapstick equally well. And he's a pretty good song & dance man. Lotsa talent, that guy!
