Still loving Lucy too! She was an amazing woman, comedienne and businesswoman. A person you can easily admier.

Other shows, but not as much as the iconic I Love Lucy:

Room 222
O&H of course (I like almost as much as Lucy)
Bewitched

By the way what's your favorite Lucy episode. I love the one where she and Ethel smuggle a 25 lb provolone cheese on the plane coming home from Italy. When they find out babies cost 10% of the fare, they try to eat the whole cheese and freak out the woman next to Lucy who has a real baby. It soo captures the craziness of Lucy the character. Next favorite vida-veeta-vegemin. Wm Holden episode is 3rd--the way she lights her nose on fire is a hoot..

Good job, Rich B! Answering a post that's 4 and 1/2 years old. Keep searching. Maybe you can find one from the Eisenhower Adminstration.

Yes, I am. Thank you.

But what does that have to do with repetitive posts to long dead threads??

If a member has something relevant or an opinion to add to an old thread, what is the big deal? The only kinds of threads that shouldn't be bumped are schedule related or time-sensitive topics. Anything else is fair game.

I am new to this message board. I just joined yesterday although I have been reading it off and on for about two years. Thank you all for alerting me to the new O & H box sets that have been issued recently. I had two or three smaller ones, although one was 40 episodes, that I bought at Wal-Mart and never really found others anywhere. Then, it was only because of this web site that I heard about the "Fun with Ozzie and Harriet" and the Nelson Family Boxed Set which I just finished completing. And now because of those purchases, Amazon contacted me about the new 100 episode set for a discount price of about $20. I have pre-ordered it because of the 100, there are bout 20 or so that I do not have. And I sometimes watch my favorites over again. I used to do this with the Honeymooners when it was on every night on Channel 11, WPIX in New York. You get to know all the lines perfectly after a while. Other favorites from my youth were Leave it to Beaver, McKeever and the Colonel (remember that one, anybody?), Love that Bob and later on The Avengers. I am 53 so I'm old enough to remember O and H when it was on from about 1959 onwards. That '59 to '62 era was probably my favorite for Ozzie and Harriet, when Rick was in college, and David a law clerk, but neither one married, yet. Thanks for letting me rant.
