Richie: Al, Have you considered finding a Partner?

Al: Partner?

Richie: Yeah, you could sell them half of Arnolds and they could help run it.

Al: Well that would be nice, But where am i going to find a partner? Nobody wants to own a Diner anymore. Everyones interested in those fancy places.

Richie: Its worth a try Al

Al: Well...Maybe your right, Ill put an ad in the newspaper. But i doubt anyone would be interested

(Suddenly People come up to Al complaining about the food, and others are demanding service.)

Al: Ok Ok, Ill get on it..... Yep Yep Yep Yep

Chachi: Wait...Ogren Street? I've heard of that house. It's the big gray one on the hill, right.

Fonz: That is correct.

Chachi: That's the old Anderson place.

Richie: No Chach, the McLaughlins are selling that house.

Chachi: Right, but before that it was the Andersons. You mean you guys haven't heard the story? That place is haunted.

(Fonzie grabs Chachi's sleeveless shirt)

Fonzie: Haunted? Are you nutso?

Chachi: No Fonz. Just listen. My mom told me the story a long time ago.

(Fonzie calms down and lets go of his shirt)

Fonzie: Aunt Louisa told you? Oh, well...ok. What's the story?
Chachi: The Anderson's were a newlywed couple who bought the house back in 1924. It sold real cheap cuz no one wanted it. Anyway, as it turned out, the house was built on an old Indian buriel ground. Both the Anderson's died in that house...of mysterious causes. So now people say it's haunted...not only by the Andersons but by the ghosts of Indians too. That's the real reason the McLaughlin's are moving to Florida. Mrs. McLaughlin threatened to leave Mr. McLaughlin if he made her spend on more night in that house.

Ralph: Chachi, that's rediculous. There's no such thing as ghosts. Indian or otherwise.

Fonzie: Are you calling my Aunt Louisa a liar?

Ralph: No Fonz. (Slaps self) Bad Ralph!

Richie: I think what Ralph means is maybe it was a story she made up to tell Chachi when he was younger.

Fonzie: My aunt don't make things up.

(Fonzie stands up abruptly)

Richie: Where are you going?

Fonzie: To tell Paula we are NOT buying that house!

(Paula and Joanie enter Arnolds, carrying several department store bags. They run into Fonzie.)

Paula: Hi Fonz! (Kisses him on the cheek) Guess what I did!

Fonzie: Bought everything on the rack at Pfisters? (Puts arm around Joanie). Including Shortcake?

Paula: Joanie and I went shopping for linens. I hope you're not mad at me...but I signed the lease for the house on Ogren Street!

Fonzie: (Taken aback) You did what?

Paula: I know I should've waited for you but I know how much you liked the house, and when I drove b there to show Joanie the house there was another couple there! I knew we'd lose it if I didn't act fast. Are you mad?

Fonzie: Me? Nah. I could never be mad at you sweetheart. It's just, well...I wish you had run it by me first.

(Richie leaves the booth and aproaches the trio.)

Richie: So, I guess you'll be moving into the haunted house after all.

Joanie: Haunted house? What haunted house?

Paula: Yeah Fonz...what haunted house?

Chachi-- *steps up from behind him*Fonz, you can't seriously consider moving into that house...

Potsie-- Yeah, Fonz, I've heard some pretty eerie sounds coming out of that house.

Joanie-- You guys are being silly. Old houses make noises all the time.

Ralph-- Yeah, especially with all those ghosts hanging around in them.

Richie-- Paula, are you sure all the paperwork has been finished? Maybe the McLaughlins will give you a chance to back out.

Fonzie-- Aaayyy....the Fonz doesn't back out of anything!

Paula-- Richie, they were pretty excited to be selling that house. As soon as I signed the papers, they had already piled their luggage into their car to start the long trip to Arizona. They didn't seem to want to spend a moment longer in the house.

*Fonzie's face suddenly becomes pale and expressionless.*

Fonzie-- They were in a hurry to get out?

Paula-- Yeah, I can't imagine why. It's a beautiful house!

Chachi-- I'll tell you why. It's because all those ghosts WANTED them out. Fonz, you've gotta sell that house. It's your only hope.

Joanie-- Sell it? Fonz, you just bought it! It's a beautiful house, why let a couple ghosts run you out. What are you, a coward?

Fonzie-- *his face turns red as he glares at Joanie* Coward? Coward? Red, Shortcake just called me a coward! *starts after her, but Richie steps between them*

Richie-- Fonz, she didn't mean it. Did you, Joanie?

Joanie-- *blinks as Fonzie's temper begins to rise again* Eerr....well, what I meant to say is that you can't sell your first house you bought as a married couple. That would be bad luck for your new life together.

Fonzie-- Look, I never said anything about selling the house. So what if there are a few ghosts still lingering around? Do you honestly think they can chase out the Fonz? Let me tell you guys something, ghosts may be scary, but they are NOT cool. And cool beats out scary any day! Whoah!

Paula-- Great, because, well....I was hoping that we could camp out there tonight. You know, to celebrate our new house. We'll have champagne and everything. It'll be really romantic, if you know what I mean....

Fonzie-- Romantic, eh? *wraps his arms around her and they sway back and forth to music that only the two of them hear*

Paula-- I thought you would like that....

*Fonzie grins*

Joanie-- *looks at her watch* Oh my gosh, it's already 3:30 pm. I've gotta go home to help Mom with dinner.

Richie-- Hold up, Joanie! *grabs his jacket* I'll go with you.

Ralph and Potsie-- Dinner? Did you say, dinner? *their eyes get big* Mmmmm.....

*Joanie and Richie look at each other and chuckle*

Richie-- Well, I guess we could set out a couple more plates.

Ralph-- Yay!

Potsie-- Great!

*Chachi looks at the floor and begins sweeps his left foot along the floor*

Joanie-- Oh alright, Chachi. You can come too.

Chachi-- *beams* Are you sure?

Joanie-- Yeah, I'm sure...

Chachi-- Because you don't have to invite me just because.....

OK, Fonzie and Paula Petralunga just got married, but Richie and Joanie are still living at home and Chachi is still running around in sleeveless shirts. Fonzie and Paula bought a house that could be haunted by Indian ghosts. Here's where the story left off. (I'm not going to butt into your story without permission)
