Oh Man, I want that doll! But, unfortunitly I can't bid right now due to the fact that I am temporily unemployed. Oh well, I guess I will just have to dream about Chico! Those were great pictures and I am glad that you shared them with you!!!! http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/love.gif

Oh I'd love to have that doll! I showed it to my hubby & he said he would get it for me for Christmas! http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/smile.gif Said he could send out the payment for it the beginning of next month. Didn't I marry a sweetie? http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/heart.gif
Now my big challenge is to make sure no one bids on it so he can get it for me.

Were these dolls homeade or were they mass produced? I'm betting this was something someone made in tribute to him & made it by hand.

Now how do I keep folks from bidding on it so my hubby can get it for me? If it went up more than the $25 he probably wouldn't be able to get it for me. http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/frown.gif I just know some some strange people we've all never heard of & never hang out on Freddie sites are gonna try to bid on it. http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/frown.gif

So to all the strangers who don't hang out on the Freddie/CATM sites. Don't bid on this & let me have it for Christmas. Instead you can spend the time reading all Freddie/CATM sites & hang out on here with us. http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/smile.gif

hello everyone . . .
we are so glad you all are enjoying this very unique doll . . . : )
we felt certain that it would be appreciated here and wanted to share it with all of you . . .
thanks for taking the time to peek at him and all of your wonderful responses . . .
in regards to the questions of his origins . . .
we are not 100% certain but are pretty sure he was hand made by someone who obviously appreciated Freddie as much as many of you do . . .
when looking at some of the stitching and the handpainting . . .
it appears to us that it was all hand made with much love and attention to detail . . .
unfortunately we do not know the artist . . .
good l***** to all of you who decide to place and bid . . . : )
wishing everyone a lovely day . . .
as always,
~peace & blessings~

hi again . . .
we just left the response and noticed the astericks in place of the word 'L*****' . . .
we have no idea how that happened but just wanted to let you all know that it wasn't intentional . . .
thanks again,
~peace & great cheer~

I bet the program running this message board thinks folks are trying to write the F word LOL! I want the doll! My hubby said if the bidding didn't go toi high he'd get it for me for Christmas so I am praying no one bids on it. I have to wait till later on in the auction to bid on it so the bidding doesn't go up too soon. So folks do pray no one bids on it. I'm gonna have to do like Freddie & pray alot & want alot too! http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/smile.gif

Thank-You so much to the 2Bohemians! This was so nice of you to make this available. If you ever come across another one, I would buy it directly from you. Please keep me in mind.

Cheryl, I wish you all the best of luck on your bidding. Could I request joint custody? Visitation Rights? ROFLOL!! http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/smile.gif

It does appear handmade, and the person who made it is really talented! Cool vintage 1970's clothing, too!

Hello to you all again . . .

We are so glad you are enjoying Freddie and thank you for all your great comments . . .
In regards to finding another one of these . . . we are thinking this is a once-in-a-lifetime find! And the great thing about his groovy seventies clothes is that you could actually wear the suede vest if you so desired but it looks like you may have to speak with Cheryl about borrowing any of Freddies clothes http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/wink.gif

Thanks again for taking a peek and for all of your awesome responses.

I am sooo distressed. My hubby told me to wait until more towards to the end of the auction so no one would out bid me. Now I found out some bad news. Some strange person who I've never seen on any CATM/FREDDIE sites has bid on the doll. I just knew that was gonna happen & when I bid on it I bet the bidding will go to more than we can afford. There goes my Christmas present. http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/frown.gif Man if they had wrote about the doll on here first before putting it up for sale on E-BAY, I could've gotten my hubby then to go on & get it for me. Whoever made the doll ought to make some more. They could get rich quick that way. http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/smile.gif A Pentium 2 laptop I wanted that was $2, the bidding went to $98 so bye-bye laptop. All my $2 laptops I'm eyeing are going to way more than I can afford... Sigh... This just isn't my day LOL! http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/frown.gif

An idea occurred to me. I could ask for donations on the internet so if the bidding went up to more than I could afford, I'd have the $$$ to still get it. I can't figure why if folks like Freddie well enough to buy stuff on him on the internet why don't they join us on these CATM/FREDDIE sites? They'd have fun! Anyway, I need not only prayers that I can be able to get the doll but I probably need a miracle now... Yikes!

Oh Cheryl, I am bummed out about this!! I really am sorry, but still hope that you are able to get this item. I am more than willing to make a donation so that if the bidding keeps escalating (which I can understand if it did) that you would be able to have the winning bid.

I would love for you to win so that this rare item would be within our Freddie Family.
