It's New Year's Eve and I'm doing the same thing I do everynight. Is this what my life has come to? Doing the same thing- day in, day out? Not that I'm necessarily complaining- it's got a certain comfort level.

Well, if this is a trial I'm guilty as charged. I'm doing absolutely nothing special tonight. Nothing out of the ordinary. I rarely do actually...

I'm doing nothing special. . . and don't often. I enjoy comfort though. Routine is great.

Ah yeah, my parents have company, my 9 year old sister is out partying, and I'm home on my ass watching MTV and I'm drunk- on coffee, that is. I'm going on my 2nd pot.

I wanted to have a good new year, but my girlfiend is layed up with a very bad cold, so she couldn't be with me, I was at some lame party with people I didn't know, no one to kiss when the clock struck midnight, plus, I just came home and some dumbass puked all over the second and third floor landing in my building!

I, As usual stayed home as well and watched TV. I like my life though, staying home isnt so bad. Although it does get boring at times.

That's why I stay home on New Years. Albany has it's share of dumbasses and they're all at First Night.

Hey, youre not the only one. I do the same thing every day. I get up, go on the computer, chat, listen to martina and other music, play my guitar, and then fall asleep. I don't mind it. It's fine and I'm happy with it.

Don't feel too bad - I know exactly what you mean. New Years and Xmas have always sucked for me but at least they were an opportunity for me to get drunk out my head. This past year I have found myself getting drunk out my head practically every night so now New Years and Xmas are no longer an event for me.
Maybe I could make it really special and try and stay sober. Now that would really make a change!!!
