I don't know about you guys, but I always considered shows like Hang Time, California Dreams, City Guys, USA High, and obviously The New Class as VERY BAD imatations of SBTB.

Notice that they "borrow" many of the same concepts from SBTB episodes.


I think this is what brought down TNBC. All of the shows that followed SBTB were too much alike. "One World" was the only one that tried to be different. And that's exactly why no other TNBC shows have been successful on syndication. The only ones that came close were City Guys, and California Dreams.


Do you guys feel the same?

I agree, I hated everyone of those shows you named. Even though I'll admit I watched USA High and some of the New Class just because there was nothing else on and I was bored.
