Thats the best show ending In TV History...Newharts close though. I Wish hey woulda had Potsie at the wedding though, maybe even fly in Ralph and every other person that could be considered a regular in the shows history. Bag, Leather, Melvin, Eugiene, Bobby, Sticks, Tommy, Flip, Arnold. EVERYONE!

I was so glad when Fonzie got Danny. I hope ABC will do a reunion movie so we can see how everyone's lives turned out.

Guess you missed ep #253 the last time it aired.
Fonzie moved out of his apartment over the C's and moved into a singles village. When the show started the C's were going to sell their house and Fonzie got upset and felt he had to move right away. Everything got smoothed over, and the C's didn't sell but Fonzie realized it was time for a move, since his life had changed a lot since he started living there.
Here's an interesting tidbit. IN "Fonzie moves in" the green mirror is already in the ap, indicating the C's owned it.
That mirror is seen in his new apartment! I guess it was a going away gift !:wave:

I watched the ending of it! I starting crying when Howard started the speech, then they showed all those clips..God that part is sad!! I agree with Chad, that is the best TV final episode EVER!!

The latest publicity release from the executives owning Happy Days: Fonzie is going to be married to CollegeGirl in the reunion show. You see, he couldn't have married the other women, because he had to marry CollegeGirl.





Can you believe my luck? I didn't know Passages was on this morning, or I would have made sure to wake up to watch it. And I was on the road during it's 5-6 pm airing.


Here's what happened AFTER the end of Passages. This part was cut, unfortunately. The director thought it slowed down the pace of things.


The scene after the wedding. Joanie and Chachi have already left for their honeymoon. All the guests have cleared out. CollegeGirl runs into the yard.

CG-- OMG! I can't believe I completely missed the wedding! *Danny walks out* Danny, where's everyone? Where's Fonzie?
Danny- They all went home. Fonzie's still in the house talking with Mr. and Mrs. C.
CG-- OK, let's go in and see them. I hope they're not too angry with me.
*Danny and CG walk in*

Fonzie-- Mr. C I can't imagine what held her up. Usually, if she says she'll be somewhere, she'll be there.
CG-- Mr. and Mrs. C. !Fonzie! I am so sorry that I missed the wedding!
Fonzie-- CG, where WERE you?
CG-- I was visitng family and I never left in time to make it here. I was still on the road during the ceremony.
Mr. and Mrs. C-- Oh, CG. It's ok. At least you're here now. Joanie and Chachi have already left. There's still some food left, though.
*Fonzie walks into the living room and sits in his chair without saying a word. His clenched jawline indicates that he is angry.*
CG-- Fonzie?
*Fonzie doesn't answer*
CG-- Fonz, I know you have good reason to be angry. But, I swear I never missed the wedding on purpose. I would never do that.....
*silence lingers in the air*
*Richie comes down the stairs*
Richie- Hey there, CG! You missed a great wedding.

Fonzie-- Red, she missed the wedding. She missed Shortcake's wedding....and my cousin's wedding.

Fonzie-- Red, she missed a very important day of my life. I went to my own cousin's wedding without my fiance. What if she accidentally "forgets" to make it to our own wedding? What if she decides not to come at all?
CG-- Fonz, is that what's worrying you? *walks over and sits on the arm of his chair* You know how much I'm looking forward to marrying you. How could any woman possibly even dream of not showing up at her wedding? Especially when she's marrying
you....
Fonzie-- *starts to grin* Well, I am irresistible to women!
CG-- Fonz, look at me. Look into my eyes. Listen to my words. I am not going to leave you. I am never going to leave you. I never thought I could find a love like ours. For years, I was convinced love didn't even exsist. When I met you, I knew there was something special about you. You are unlike anyone I've ever met in my entire life. And I couldn't begin to express how stunned I was that you could actually fall in love with someone like me. And then want to marry me on top of that? How could I even contemplate not showing up at our wedding. I'd have to be insane!
Fonzie-- *tears start to form in his eyes* Wow, I can't believe how selfish I'm acting. I don't know what came over me. I guess being at this wedding and seeing you were not there just caused me to panic. I've never been married before. And everyone I care about has the habbit of leaving me. I guess I still haven't conquored my fear of being left alone, yet.
CG- Fonz, I'm never ever going to leave you. That would be the stupidest thing I could ever do. Let me prove to you that not eveyone you care about will leave you.

I know, I noticed that part too! Everyone-- including the creators and writers, I guess-- associated that mirror so much with Fonzie that they forgot it wasn't originally his. Or else, like you said, it was a going away gift. Oorrrrrrrrrrr........Fonzie is a thief! He stole the mirror, hoping no one would notice. Only, he forgot about the cameras that were hidden in his aprtment.

Although, this fanfic piece wasn't technically accurate. Fonzie never actually proposed to me until Danny's first Chritmas with Fonzie. Almost a year afterwards! There's no way this could have happened. Sorry.:o

Hi, Zack! You never have posted here, so welcome!

I hadn't seen that episode in years!! I was able to watch and tape it before work on Tuesday, it's a keeper. I remember watching a retrospective on Happy Days (maybe on A and E?) in which it was mentioned that Howard's speech was just so emotional for the cast as they filmed it. And I did get misty-eyed when Fonzie was tearing up about being turned down to adopt, and again when he was approved. I love it when Fonzie gets emotional. Wish Richie was in the show longer, and wish Ralph and Potsie were there.

And I agree with MsConanO'Brian, Laurie Beth does nothing for me!!:p Peggy Sue
