Ed - I am fine. This is such a terrible tragedy because I use to work there and I see the WTC all the time. I think 5 WTC just fell. http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/frown.gif Pray for all........ http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/frown.gif

Thank God you are fine Jenny!!! Yes 5 WTC fell tonight. It is very weird for me because I have lived in this neighborhood my whole life and have been able to see the WTC every single day off my life from my house and just where I live. It is very strange now that it is not there.

Continue to pray for this situation!

I'm glad those here on the board from that area are ok !

Together with our faith in God we can get through this trama of terrorism.

Prayer can do powerful things.

I keep wondering, what would Freddie and Jack have to say about all of this.

But I don't think that's gonna happen.... http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/frown.gif

You know the next day (Wednesday), all I could do is think,"Is this a movie?" and scenes from "Independance Day" ran through my head.....Unfortunately, it is all too real. We had a prayer service at our school today and we sang "God Bless America" at the end. I had to lead the singing for over 400 people and it was hard, let me tell you....I choked up a few times!

What has happened in New York is so horrendous. I have such a lump in my throat. The sadness is all those people who lost their lives. Their poor families........... They keep posting the peoples pictures on TV. Those poor children missing their mothers and fathers. Missing wives, husbands, mothers, fathers, children, brothers, sisters, boyfriends, girlfriends, fiancees, co workers, friends........ http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/crying.gif

Ed - I am fine but, it is hard to see New York without the towers. http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/frown.gif

The transportation is horrendous. Understandably so..... My sister and brother in law can't go to their jobs. So many people lost their jobs. http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/frown.gif

I went to church today at noon with a friend of mine, It was packed. I went out at 7pm, I went with my sister and nephew and we lit candles for those lost and their loved ones who were left behind. We were the only ones out there. The local news asked everyone to do this to show support. We prayed and just stood out there in the quiet evening.

JennyLee, I know what you mean. I was down at the waterfront tonight in Jersey City and I was looking over at where the WTC was and its so sad because you cannot even remember where it was or how it looked, all you see is black smoke and dust and huge giant cranes lifting pieces of wreckage.

I think Ed would fill a canteen with bourbon, slip into his ill-fitting world war two uniform complete with Army helmut and that Chico would be standing on a street corner, hands at his hips in his best black ghetto voice shouting, "God Bless America, suckers!"

Now there's a picture! I love it! Thanx for a little something to make us smile in the middle of all this, Tony. Glad to know you and Ed Jr. are alright, BTW!
