View Full Version : Webster on CTS in Canada wai-cool 12-31-2002, 01:05 AM For any Canadians, Webster started on CTS today. It airs daily at 4pm. Mr. Belvedere is now off the schedule. Mr. Belvedere has been bumped from the schedule. Brett Ferino 01-24-2003, 08:39 PM For those in Canada, don't they air or have they aired episodes of "Family Ties", "The Hogan Family", "Courtship of Eddie's Father" as well? Of those three, only THF is not aired in the USA. FT and COEF are, on Nick@Nite and Turner South, which is availible in Southern U.S. States... bd 01-25-2003, 03:41 PM We are enjoying Webster on CTS here in the Toronto area; we're about 20 episodes into the series now. Anyone notice that Webster is missing most of his front teeth in the pilot episode? (episode 1) Then, in episode 2, Webster is slightly taller, and most of his teeth are in. (The pilot must've been taped several months before episode 2) This is also true in the shots during the theme music; in the intro to the pilot, there are pictures that don't appear in episode 2 (Webster eating an ice cream cone, George and Ma'am cheering him down the slide, and Webster grinning with most of his teeth missing) I'm glad I taped the pilot...it's a real keeper. In the very first scene, Webster is sitting in the airport lobby, wearing his suit and holding "Teddy," waiting for his plane to Chicago to live with his Godparents. He's so tiny, he almost looks like a baby! A lady asks him, "Have you ever met your guardian before?" Webster says, "Not since I was a kid, but he seems nice." The lady says, "I'm sure you'll like him very much." And then, Webster gives a lonely, uncertain look off into the distance and says, "I sure hope he likes ME...." That is a scene that just grips your heart!!! (it's was hard not to tear up) It's too bad that the show didn't begin even a year earlier, because after the pilot episode, he seems to grow up really fast. |
