We're all a little panicky at work (trying to decide if we should leave early today and whether to come in tomorrow). I pass through the WTC every day because that's where I used to catch the subway uptown to Union Square and Park Ave. Lucky I was late for work Tuesday and caught the news before I left my New Jersey home. Today there have been bomb threats all around us and a gigantic Barnes & Noble around the corner was evacuated. Also, Union Square has been turned into a makeshift memorial (I haven't been outside to see it yet.) People really don't want to be in the city and I don't blame them. It's really weird on Fifth Avenue. You used to be able to look north and see the Empire State Building and look south to the Twin towers.
