I will remember that 2002 was the year I graduated high school. I will never forget the sniper attacks or the men trapped in the mines in PA.

How the beginning of it was good and how the end of it was stupid.

2002 overall- Worst year of my life. But I have a feeling 2003 won't be much better.

September 24th- I swear, I'll never forget that day.

I met someone who has permanently altered my life for the better, they just don't know it. They became what I would call a 'secret friend.' I'm not sure either of us would admit that, but yeah...

The year was pretty good until last night when my grandmother passed away.

Me going to the Martina concert, and me having to move to Alabama UGH, and me leaving my friends in Cali.

brian, i'm sorryabout your grandma. :( i will never forget how i was so obsessed with how me and my old best friend weren't close anymore. now, i don't give a damn. the division season premiere is another. and my family car vacation during the summer which wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. i realized they're just as insane as i am.

I will remember this year the best over the maturity and spiritual growth I encountered as well as learning more about Jesus Christ and the Bible as well as attending confirmation class AND getting my drivers license.

As for my time other than hanging around on these boards, there are several things that I will remember.

-Getting my braces off
-Getting my first job
-Leading my softball team to their 4th straight undefeated championship season as a catcher.
-Visiting my father's cousin's ranch and riding on a horse for the very first time.
-Becoming student body president at my school
-Becoming a peer mediator
-Becoming moderator of several SO boards (OK so that isn't something away from the boards but I felt it was worth mentioning)

Okay, I'm not going to list the bad things about the year. I'll just list the good.

On the boards
I became a moderator for the Batman and The Twilight Zone boards.
I met a bunch of friendly people through the boards that I didn't really know all that well before.

Off the boards
This is a really biggie- graduation. It's kind of split down the middle with happiness and sadness. I mean I'm happy that I'm finally out of hs, but I do miss some of my friends.

Gosh, I really do live in a hole but even I know about the attacks.

Just kiddin'. Anyway, I believe they were in October. They were in Montgomery County, Maryland and the surrounding area. I think it may have been 10 who died. The two suspects are accused of 19 shootings and 13 killings, including one in Montgomery, Alabama and 1 or 2 in Louisianna. It scared the mess out of our nation. No one knew if it was terrorists or what not...freaky times.

I can relate, I'll remember this as the year my grandfather and last living grandparent died. And the year that my family officially became a soap opera.
But ill also remember it as the year my cousin was officially adopted.
Ill remember a whole lot of schoolwork (junior yr...), a lot of ill-fated relationships, being "on my own" since my best friends graduated last yr, finding out a lot about myself, attempting to learn to drive, and getting back some friendships that i messed up

I'd love to meet William Shatner. The guy sounds absolutely crazy. Have you read his 'Get A Life' book? I was laughing so hard when he was telling about that skunk story, I swear I was crying by the time I finished the chapter.

Max, maybe you can help me. Okay, I know they made Star Trek: TOS bobble heads. I've been checking for the past few weeks trying to find some pics of the bobble heads and who they made bobble heads of. Do you know by any chance if they did all of them, or did they just make bobble heads of Kirk, Spock and Bones? Do you have any of them and do they look pretty normal? Some bobble heads look so weird and freaky and I don't want to rush out and try to find me a set and they look like a distant cousin of Chuckie.

I'll remember my former boss Florence, she died at the end of August. She was a nice lady.

Get A Life is basically about Star Trek conventions. Now, that might sound boring just me describing it. Really it's a funny book. Shatner has got the strangest sense of humor and he def. showcases that in Get A Life.

Back when the Star Trek conventions were popping up everywhere, Shatner really wasn't too fond of the conventions. He'd show up and just think of it as something professional. He was just trying to distance himself from Star Trek and Captain Kirk and Get A Life kind of tells how he accepts ST and Kirk into the balance of things. He tells how he likes going to conventions and meeting all kinds of Trek fans.

Your welcome. Unfortunately, I don't know if Star Trek: TOS is coming back to Scifi. See they had this chain reaction on Scifi around Nov. It hasn't been on the schedule since. I noticed one night about a month and a half ago they had it listed starting again around Dec. 16th. They removed that scheduled date. I'd hate for them to remove it. I didn't really get that big of a chance to record it. I recorded the chain reaction and I got it on two old tapes. They weren't brand new tapes, so it isn't the best quality. I hope they add it back after New Years.

To all the others, if you don't like ST. That's fine, but check Star Trek 4: The Voyage Home movie. Oh my god, that movie is hilarious. I think a person could like that movie even if you hate ST. I won't give away details, but it is a very good movie. The two pics in my sig come from that movie.

All the 7th Heaven fans might want to check out ST 4. ST 4 has Catherine Hicks in it. Star Trek: The Motion Picture has Stephen Collins in it. I haven't seen ST:TMP, but I've heard quite a few nicknamed it ST: The Motionless Picture. If you decide to check out TMP just for Stephen, that might be all you enjoy out of that movie. Check out ST 4 the next time it comes on.
