For me it is between Darlene and Becky (the first Becky). i love Darlene's sarcasm. But Becky was cool to. She seemed like a good girl but she still had that rebel side to her. Go Conner Girls!

I chose Darlene. I liked her sarcasm, and I felt that the character was a stong person. I also liked how brutally honest she was, it always made me laugh :)

Darlene has always been my favorite.

For me it is between Becky #1 and Darlene. I liked their chemistry. Becky #2 and Darlene did not have that at all. No sister moments except for when Darlene's baby was in a critical state and the two sisters only hugged.

I picked Darlene, simply because she is the most sarcastic person in the world, and most of her one-liners have me on the floor.

But if I had to vote for another one, I'd pick Becky #2...because she was HOT!!! :D

Darlene hands down. Especially during the middle years, not during her depression though.

I'm a teenage and I love Roseanne. I watch the reruns everyday. I'm almost like Darlene. I have a older sister and a younger bother. I call my sister a freck and my bother all sorts of things. I wish they would make another season like The Connor's after 5 years. that would be so cool!:)

I like Darlene the most. The series rightfully played her as a younger version of Roseanne, only one with a better future and more education.

Becky was played as younger version of Jackie. Jackie had lots of promise when she was younger (remember the episode in season three in which Bev tells Jackie they always hoped she would do more), but she squandered that as she grew up, just as Becky was doing by marrying Mark and moving into a trailer park.

DJ was just there. I don't think he was a younger version of anybody.

Darlene was my favorite. Like her I was a tomboy and I'm the middle sibling.. So I related to her alot. :D

I'd have to go with Darlene. I liked her dark and dry sense of humor. Also she seemed to be the most real, and natural onscreen of all the Connor kids. I also liked D.J. alot in the first few seasons, but I thought he got annoying as the show went on.

I picked Darlene. IMO, she was the one who was the focus of most of the episodes when I think the show had peaked (seasons 4-6)

Darlene she was just like a new younger Roseanne only with a education and brothers. They are both Sarcastic and always cracking jokes. In the episode where Roseanne says Dan doesn't spend enough time with Becky Darlene says something like she thinks its great how Roseanne is always making wise cracks.
Did anyone notice how seasons 3-4 was mainly about Becky seasons 5-6 were about Darlene then season 7 was about DJ and David.

Does anyone really count Jerry as a Conner Kid? I think he would have been like Dan.

becky is the best character that is in the show roseanne and is one of the funnyiest she acts the best

Becky all the way, she is the most relatable (to me anyway, eldest of 3. a younger sister and brother) and doesn't get boring after a while like Darlene does

I said Darlene, I love her dry sense of humor.

dj was funny as hell even though he almost always just shouted out a one liner then ran out of the room

Darlene, definately. She was not only the funniest, but she was the one we got to see with the most growth as a person.

Darlene and D.J. are two of my very favorite sitcom kids. Darlene was so cool, and D.J. was such a wise guy and perfectly cast due to Michael Fishman's facial similarity to Roseanne. I know Roseanne was impressed by him and insisted he join the cast. Both Darlene and D.J. could be very sweet at times, but overall their personalities reflected the gruff side of Roseanne very well.

Nothing against Becky. I thought her relationship with Mark was interesting, but maybe the change of actresses marred her character a bit. She was definitely a vital part of the show.

So who do I vote for? I have Darlene on my left giving me the evil eye, and D.J. on my right giving me his best scowl omg:

I voted for Darlene because I love her sarcasm. Everything about her character was extremely well written... her chemistry with David, her wisecracks, and even though many fans didn't like her period of depression, it was still very well done and worked great with Darlene's character.

D.J. was never a vital part of the overall storyline, although there were a few episodes where he was a main character. Michael Fishman did a good job with the part he was given. As for Becky, I enjoy her up until Season 6 (when Sarah Chalke replaced her). I don't have anything against Sarah Chalke, I just think that Becky's character was more important in seasons 1-5. After season 6, she was just there and didn't really do anything.

And nobody even bothers to count Jerry as one of the kids. He never talked so he really didn't have any part in the story, and he was never in the opening credits so nobody really paid any attention to him.

Darlene. I like her the most when she was a tomboy though.

I prefer Becky #2 compared Becky #1. Becky#2 (Sarah Chalke) kicks ass, WOO HOO!!!!!!!!!!!

Darlene! Her sarcastic humor always cracks me up! I liked her especially in her 16th birthday episode. Darlene reminds me of the cartoon character Daria that used to be on MTV!

Darlene hands down!!! She was so funny and sarcastic and I liked the fact that she was tough on the outside but sensitive on the inside. "To who it concerns" is like the best poem! Sara Gilbert is simply my favorite actress.

Darlene was cool, But I dont think DJ had a lot going for his character. I feel a lot of the time he was a fill in.
