We all know that the animated Flinstones concept was based on the Honeymooners.

But anyway are their any episodes of the Flinstones that are a remake of a Honeymooners episode?

Very few of the original 166 episodes of "The Flintstones" were verbatim adaptions of "Honeymooners" segments...Hanna and Barbera wrote more-or-less original tales using the Kramdens and Nortons as prototypes for the Flintstones and Rubbles (although "The Swimming Pool {14 October 1960}, "The Engagement Ring"{25 November 1960}, and especially "The Mailman Cometh"{23 March 1962} contain specific elements lifted from earlier "Honeymooners" episodes.)

Adams, and published by Turner Publishing Co. back in 1994, around the time the first Flintstones movie came out. It has a wealth of information pertaining to the creation of this landmark animated series. I urge everyone to seek it out.)

Interestingly, some of the later "Flintstones" revivals are, indeed, verbatim "Honeymooners" adaptions, including a dead-on remake of the third or fourth Honeymooners "classic 39" episode where Ralph has to learn golf in two days, only transplanted to Fred having to play golf with Mr. Slate, and a classic one about the appetizer/dogfood mixup.:lol:
