I do wish the show would do something pro-homosexual since I am one and on the first season there are alot of negative jokes about it. Maybe they could do an episode where Malcolm meets an openly gay kid at school and becomes friends (not like boyfriends...just friends!)...what do y'all think?

I've said that to people before when I've been talking about MITM, there are quite a lot of homophobic jokes used for no reason.
They should do an episode like you suggested.
Especially as it is a show watched by a lot of younger people who's minds could be influenced.
