I thought I would give it a few days and let things die out without me intervening, but that appears not to be happening. Please take the personal attacks to e-mail, this board is not here for people to exchange insults. The Kathy bashing is disturbing to many people including myself, and I don't think it's right to continually post about it. How would Freddie Sr. and Jr. feel about it? Keep your personal views on her to yourself.

I've never had to ban a member here before and don't want to start now. I also don't want to see anybody leave over this.

I guess having an opinion is a crime. I can understand these discussions did get out of hand but does that mean that everyone has to agree that there favorite color is blue. Not everyone is gonna agree on the same subject and people are gonna have different opinions and feelings. I thought a message board was a place where you could go to discuss these topics and conversate with other people.

Ed, you didn't voice your "opinion" of Kathy Prinze....you made "accusations" of what she supposedly did in a former life without knowing for sure if it was true. You didn't say, "my OPINION is she was a hooker." You said, "she WAS a hooker." There is a huge difference between the two. Unless you have hard evidence to prove it, I think you'd be best served not to hurl unfounded accusations toward people you don't know.

You're all missing the point. It's not about the stating of opinion, that's always welcome, it's about the hostility with which it is being done here. There's no need for that.

Exactly FreddieFan, that was what I was trying to say. Opinions are always welcome, but there is no need for the hostility from anybody here.

As I've said before, I'll say it again I don't expect everybody to agree on everything but be civilized about it. This is an explosive topic that has erupted everytime it is brought up.

This is like the Hatfields and the McCoys. There are clearly 2 groups of people here - those that are anti-Kathy and those that are supportive or indifferent towards her. Let's all try to get along, ok?

Not to create another disturbance, but Kathy did have a prostitution arrest before she met Freddie, which was eventually dropped.

I don't agree with all the Kathy bashing going on either, but it isn't like the people on this board are making up accusations out of thin air.

Also, I would like to know if you know whether FP Jr. and/or Kathy have read this board.

Even if Kathy DID have a prostitution arrest BEFORE (key word here) she met Freddie, that was over 25 yrs ago. The charge was dropped, so why is it that some people can't let that stay in the past? I'm quite sure everyone posting here has a few skeletons in their closets...nobody is squeaky clean and polishing their halos....

Apparently, Freddie was a big enough man and loved Kathy enough to overlook the arrest, right? He loved her, married her and they had a child together. You can't blame his drug problems on any ONE person or instance. It was probably a combination of many things going on in his life at the time. Superstardom at age 22, pressure out the wazoo.....that could question the sanity of anyone!

From what I read she quit hooking & went legit just before she met Freddie starting to work in the restuarant or club that Freddie performed in the nite he met her. I read where he also helped reform her. I read somewhere that he joked that he would be able to get from her for free what she used to charge for. I read he really loved her alot. Thanks, TJ--- I was wondering when or if you were going to say something. When I read all of the negative posts on this board about Kathy, it makes me not want to post on the board anymore. None of us walked in Kathy's shoes and we have no right to judge her. It is really easy to be a Monday morning quarterback. If we feel the need to be angry, maybe we should direct that anger towards Freddie himself for the choices he made in his young life. Quit putting the blame on others.
