View Full Version : Favorite Movie? Barnabas1 12-27-2002, 05:28 PM What's your favorite Lucy movie? :) Mickey 12-27-2002, 05:59 PM You know, Babalu, I swear your sig gets longer every time I read one of your messages! :) Films... I used to love Paleface, but I haven't seen it in years, so I guess I can't really comment on that one. I guess I'd go with Too Many Girls, which I like for being daft and dated and full of people having absurd amounts of fun singing about a football game. Plus Desi giving it his all. There's a lot of her films I haven't seen yet though, including The Long, Long Trailer, so I can't give a proper answer really. For Desi, The Navy Wins Through is another absurdly enjoyable one. Talk about over the top on the patriotism! Again there are too many that I haven't seen though. This may well be one of the disadvantages of living in a country with only five TV channels! LucyFan 12-27-2002, 06:06 PM I have two: The Long, Long Trailor and Yours, Mine, and Ours. Amanda924 12-28-2002, 08:43 PM My favorite is "The Long Long Trailer" I've never even heard of "Paleface". When was that made? Mickey 12-29-2002, 08:44 AM Hmm, sorry Amanda - I meant Fancy Pants, not Paleface. The Paleface movies were made in around the late forties/early fifties, and I think were Bob Hope and Jane Russell, not Lucille Ball. Fancy Pants was c. 1950, and was a western too, not especially dissimilar. *ShortCake* 12-30-2002, 02:27 AM The FULLER BRUSH GIRL!!
