I got this little tidbit from the IMDB.

Bad boy Aussie actor Russell Crowe has infuriated fiancee Danielle Spencer by inviting a string of former lovers to their engagement party. The tempestuous Gladiator star wants former conquests Meg Ryan, Sharon Stone, Peta Wilson and Erica Baxter to join in the festivities at his New Years Eve bash at his Australian ranch. A family friend says, "Danielle accepts these girls were part of Russell's life. She is happy to tolerate them in other social situations, but to have them in their home to celebrate their forthcoming marriage is just too much. There have been a lot of loud arguments heard by staff and family members on the estate. Meg had a high-profile romance with Russell through most of 2000 so it's an awkward situation. She is expected to turn the invite down but Danielle knows Russell wants her there."

Anyone who thinks Crowe's Marriage will outlast J Lo's, you'd better change your bets!

Russel does sound stupid. Who in their right mind would want to invite their ex to parties? I can see if they can get along with each other, but it's still a little much. Actually, this is kind of like the situation that my mom and dad have been in for some time. They're seperated, but are still friends. My dad will invite my mom in for a little while for coffee sometimes when she takes me over there for a weekend. It's awkward sometimes because he has a new girlfriend and my mom doesn't feel right about being there for very long, since she feels that my dad has a new life without her now and she accepts it.

Danielle should give the Playboy a taste of his own medicine and invite every guy she's ever gone past second base with.

Russell Crowe maybe stupid, but you've got to admit he's got a brass set of you know what.

Russel Crowe is a f>ck!ng moron! I would never even contemplate inviting any ex-girlfriends to my engagement party. Not only is that extremely insensitive, it's also just downright insulting to the woman he is about to marry!
Marraige should be built upon mutual respect (although, unfortunetly, very few marraiges ever are) and trying to play your fiancee off against your exes is just pathetic. This just goes to show what a sad and insecure little man Russel Crowe really is.
Men make me sick sometimes, they really do..........

Geez, I forgot my bets. My J.Lo bet was 7 months. Um, Russell is a wild man at heart. I'll go with 3 months for him.

Well if he was really good FRIENDS with one of them before they got together and they still remain friends then I can see that but if he's just doing it as a test or to get them drunk and sleep with them then he's just stupid.

It sounds kind of silly in my mind. Can you imagine if you were about to get married and your future husband asks if he can invite all of his ex gf's? That might be a big sign that the relationship isn't going to work out that great. I know you can still be friends with ex's, but come on you wouldn't exactly invite the whole gang over to a wedding. It'd be like a slap to the face for the bride.

Russell still needs alot of growing up to do. I think he should postpone that wedding.

That poor, poor lady........
