A strange thought just hit me. Am i obsessed with Joyce DeWitt? It is very scary thinking like that, i have pictures of her on my wall that i printed out and i even have dreams at night of kidnaping her and tying her up in my basement.Does this mean i am obsessed with her?

Nahh. I mean, I have dreams of my fav shows sometimes and I also collect a bunch of stuff and have my walls decked out with it. Its pretty normal I guess.

Sure... but what's wrong with being obsessed? ;)

I mean its just scary thinking that kind of stuff i have never been obsessed in my life but now its like all i ever do is watch Three's Company and write stories about Joyce. Its Joyce this Joyce that.

Well, you said it just started. Whenever someone finds a new interest (TV, celeb, boys) it gets really obsessive for a bit.. then it dies down and goes back to normal.

LOl, yea but itll calm down after a while. I was like that with Happy Days & Laverne&Shirley lol. I mean, Im still obsessed with the shows and all... but its not THAT bad. I used to talk about it all the time and drive my friends :crazy:, now-- I got the boards for that!

Go meet her, trust me. I was obsessed with Lisa Whelchel, saw her in person and met her, now it's like 'Lisa who?'. I'm never being obsessed with anyone again

I know you weren't here back then, but my username used to be Joyce DeWitt :D I was obsessed with her. She's still cool but I've moved on.

and i'll also add sometimes if the celebrity reminds you of you you get a little obsessed atleast thats MY problem with Terry and it doesnt help that my fam and friends buy me things that SHE would wear and stuff and besides THERES NOTHING WRONG WITH BEING OBSESSED :)

Well if ur her #1 fan u must be obsessed. Im kelly osbourne's biggest fan w/o a doubt and im proud of it. Theres nothing wrong w/ being obsessed.

Ha...that sounds like me with Richard Dawson. But seriously, as long as you don't stalk them, or harrass them over the phone, thru email/snail mail, etc., I think you're fine. Just remember to live the rest of your life. :)

I have MANY obsessions, but I don't care if they're "obsessions" or not. All I know is they're fun things that make me happy. Whether it's classified as an obsession or not doesn't bother me, and it shouldn't bother you.

About the dreams, I've had 8 Rockapella dreams, 3 David Spade dreams, and ___-teen 'Laverne and Shirley' dreams. Don't sweat it. It's normal. (And my dreams are ODD. One Rockapella dream had Jeff in a fuzzy teddy bear suit sitting in the corner pouting. Tying Joyce up in your basement is nothing next to that.)

I've got Batman tv show pics in the living room. I'm dead serious. It's cool. I mean, most living rooms have pictures of the family and all that. We have family pics of course, but it just adds flair to a room to have something totally different. How many living rooms have you walked into and seen Batman pictures on the wall? Not too many right? It's cool to be different.

Batman? I used to watch that show when it was originally on TV in the mid-'60s. I remember singing along with the theme song... ("Batman," "Batman," "Batman..."). :)
