Does that mean that Facts of Life "is" coming back to the Hallmark channel?

What did the ad say? Was it just a basic 'Watch FOL on the Hallmark Channel' or did it add info like 'Watch FOL starting January 31st.'

Wait, Hallmark could be like TVL. Notice those Andy Griffith Show ads that say, "Watch 'The Andy Griffith Show at 10 and 10:30 p.m." That's not true. TAGS comes on at 10. Leave it to Beaver comes on at 10:30. I guess it must be hard to film another commericial for TAGS.

I hope they are bringing back FOL. I'd like to record this time.

But it's not scheduled for December or January. What was the ad about, I can imagine if they will be adding it to their schedule at the last momen but are you sure you've seen a sign that it will be airing again, if so when did the ad plan to air the show, were they just advertising to watch the show in the future?

If it's true, I would like to see the show again but I worried if they do add it to their line-up when they add new shows to their line-up, I'm afraid it will be tooken off right away again and it won't be shown again after that.

I would really like to see the show once again, I hope Hallmark gives us another chance.

That's what I'm afraid of too. You know, if they would only show the rotation once again and go through every single episode and we could tape them in order.

I must admit that I'd like to get every episode on tape and if I could, I wouldn't necessarily mind it if Hallmark dropped it completely as long as they go through the rotation one more time. The case is that I don't have any episodes and I was planning on recording when they started the rotation over again. You all witnessed what happened and Hallmark dropped it.

I'm positive some people are in the same boat as I am. Others might've recorded the ones off N @ N and the TVL marathon, but they still have a few eps that they need to get. I'm not asking them to keep FOL on for 10 years. I'd just like for them to go through the rotation once more and those that don't have any episodes could get the episodes.

I was SOOOOOOO psyched...till I saw the rest of the ad on Hallmark--it was only for a Lysol Handy-wipes ad: "Lysol presents the facts of life--fact #1, kids get messy, etc." My hopes were shot to hell....:crying:

They shouldn't have ads like that on t.v.

That's too bad. It's an honest mistake. I mean if I was away from the tv and I heard someone say the facts of life, I'd probably think they were talking about the show- especially if I hadn't heard the whole commericial.

I've seen that commercial so many times. I actually had my hopes up, I was hoping that Facts of Life was indeed coming back. Even though it's been a while, I think Hallmark is stupid for letting Facts of Life go. This board is the exception, but I think Facts of Life is a classic 80's tv show. I can only hope that one day that Hallmark wises up and puts Facts of Life back on their line up.

Angela ~ forgive me if this makes no sense, I'm having a horrible Christmas
Eve, plus, I'm a little bit buzzed at the moment.

I can see how you can get confused with that commercial, you see the ad for Lysol and you assume that Lysol is sponsoring the show for Hallmark. I've seen that commercial frequent times, it's not my favorite but at times it can throw you off.

I thought it had a chance at making a comeback, but I can see that won't be happening for awhile. Anyways, next time you see a commercial, next time look at it carefully, it just might be an ad for The Facts of Life that will advertise that it does come back to Hallmark, LOL.

Ha Ha!!!

I'll bet anything if any of you ever travel on US highway 281 between Wichita Falls and Ammarillo, both in Texas and come across a big green city and town milage sign and see something going northwestbound toward Amarillo that says (Memphis), you dummies will probably think that Memphis, Tennessee is right at the next exit on the way to Amarillo, TX, when in actuallity the town is really called Memphis, Texas.

So, the Facts of Life doesn't just state the show of the 80's, but rather a Lysol commertial.

And by the way, I'll bet you all don't know there was a movie made I think in 1958 called The Facts of Life, and guess what, it was about some 12 year old boy in some small West Virginia mountain town, not about 4 girls at some school for girls.

First of all the commercial was on the Hallmark Channel, a channel that had aired FOL before. If you're in Texas, then you would know when you saw a sign for Memphis it wouldn't be theo ne for Tennessee.

And for the record, that movie was made in 1960 and was a romantic comedy starring Lucille Ball and Bob Hope. :D

WHOA!? You mean to tell me they had movies in 1958. *sarcasm*

I'm sorry to all the other members, but I just hate the ignorant statements that spew from his messages.
